Lasciando il nostro punto d'incontro, ci dirigeremo verso Olas Altas, una delle zone più antiche ed emblematiche del nostro porto, per raggiungere la nostra prima taqueria e birrificio artigianale.
Attraverseremo il Bonfil Park dove potrai apprezzare la più grande flotta di gamberetti dell'America Latina e comprendere le tradizioni culinarie dei gamberetti a Mazatlan.
Continueremo il nostro viaggio verso il nostro prossimo venditore dove mangerai uno dei tacos più popolari in Messico, Taco al pastor, dove spiegheremo la vera origine di questo taco.
Dopo aver assaporato i meravigliosi sapori del taco al pastor, guideremo lungo il bellissimo malecon di Mazatlan fino a raggiungere la nostra prossima destinazione, dove vedrai il processo di cottura dei nostri carne asada tacos e tortillas fatte a mano.
Continueremo la nostra avventura culinaria per provare uno dei tacos più rappresentativi di Sinaloa, quindi ci dirigeremo verso la nostra destinazione finale, il bar Mezcal, dove il maestro mezcal residente ti guiderà attraverso la degustazione del tradizionale mezcal, esplorando il dolce, affumicato, floreale ed erbaceo sapori della bevanda preispanica.

I had an incredible tour with Paola. 11/10, book with her/Tomatl immediately! I will definitely be taking this same tour again next time I’m in Mazatlán. Paola took us to several fantastic taco spots I never would have discovered on my own. As a professional chef, she has a great passion for food, and she taught me so much throughout the day. Beyond the culinary experience, she shared fascinating insights into the history and local culture of the city. I walked away with so much new information and loved every minute of it. Highly recommended!"
Great food! 4 totally different kinds of taco places, each with with Paola’s historical explanation and authenticity of the food. We had shrimp, beef, pork and chicken. Each looked different and were delicious. I, personally, only eat chicken and fish, but I did have a taste of the other two—couldn’t miss the experience. We finished the tour with a mezcal and tequila tasting at a really classy and historical bar. Paola is a wonderful guide. She does cooking classes as well. We plan to book one of those next time.
Paola’s taco tour was a family favorite!! This tour is not only a taco tour but Paola knowledge of the area and its history is fantastic. Recommend Paolo’s taco tour 10/10
I'm sure the rest of our family will agree that the taco mezcal tour was a wonderful experience. We learned much about the area and the salty feet people of Mazatlan. The food was delicious and we learned the art of drinking mezcal. I would highly recommend this tour. We found our way back to one of the taco bars as we just couldn't get enough. Five stars
We had an amazing experience with Paola, She went out of her way to make her experience, unique, and tailored to specific needs. Her passion comes through on the tour as everything is well explain and make the experience all that much more enjoyable. She’s knowledgable about her City therefore you get a good understanding of where you’re at and what you can see and do next. Her English is amazing. Therefore there’s nothing you can ask that she won’t understand. We went to four different eateries and had four very unique but equally excellent choices.
We had an amazing time with Paola showing us parts of Mazatlan that were a little less touristy. The tacos were so delicious and it was great to hear the food history as we ate. This was some of the best food we had on our week in Mazatlan and we plan to book another experience with Paola when we go back!
ALL. THE. TACOS. After doing a cooking class w/Paola 2 years ago, we opted for this deep dive into tacos! We had 4 very different styles at her fave spots then washed everything down with a mescal tasting. Learned LOTS & even got a ride back to our resort. Until next time, Paola!
The tacos were the best I've ever tasted. We went to 4 places and experienced each restaurant's speciality. Evening concluded with Mezcal tasting. Paola is very knowledgeable in Mazatlan culture and history. Speaks perfect English..
AMAZING TOUR! Paola is wonderful and very knowledgeable! We ate and drank well. Paola took us to her favourite Taco places and she was able to give us the history of the places. Paula was great! She is knowledgeable about the history and culture of the tacos of Mexico and willing to share recommendations for others things to do in the area. The stops we made were great and the tacos amazing and all so different.
