Un tour privato con un tocco locale e personale. Ti porteremo a fare una passeggiata intorno alla vecchia Reykjavík, visitando i punti salienti e i punti di riferimento della città e facendoti conoscere la cultura, la storia, i costumi e le persone, oltre a provare il cibo tradizionale. Visiteremo un ristorante tradizionale nascosto dove assaporerai il cibo e imparerai la cultura gastronomica in Islanda, che è cambiata radicalmente nel secolo scorso. Proverai anche alcuni dolci tradizionali e un delizioso gelato.

Chiesa Hallgrímskirkja, sede del governo, Parlamento nazionale Alþingi, Municipio di Reykjavík Lungo il percorso attraverso la città di Reykjavík visiteremo un antico ristorante a conduzione familiare molto prestigioso dove assaggerete piatti tradizionali, ad es. salmone, aringa, eglefino e il famoso agnello ruspante, di cui siamo così orgogliosi. Ci fermeremo nel caffè più antico della città, dove assaggerai alcuni dolci islandesi e una tazza di bevanda calda. Visiteremo una fantastica gelateria. Lungo la strada passeremo davanti al famoso chiosco di hot dog, che da oltre 60 anni serve il miglior hot dog della città. Lo chiamano "Bæjarins Bestu", che significa "Il migliore della città". Il tour terminerà nel vecchio porto.

Helga did a great job narrating and leading the private tour. In addition to walking throughout the center of Reykjavík, we stopped in four different eating establishments for a taste of the area. Icelandic food was front and center at each stop. Nobody goes away hungry. All together we walked maybe 1.5 miles. This is a very easy tour so long as you have normal mobility.

This tour is great! Not only did we learn history we stopped and sampled tastes of the region. I wimped out on the fermented shark but tried all the other samples. Loved hearing about Margaret’s favorites and her memories of growing up in Iceland. My favorite stop, after walking in a cold rain, was the coffee shop and a warm latte. Delightful! Great tour!

Fun and informative food tour and city walk in Reykjavik in small friendly group with local guide.. Tour involved a lot of local food so don't overdo breakfast beforehand. Would definitely recommend when visiting Reykjavik.
