Questo tour gastronomico è come una lezione di storia attraverso il cibo. Unisciti a me, residente a Praga, e ad altri buongustai da tutto il mondo e lascia che ti accompagni in un viaggio dal cibo ceco tradizionale a quello contemporaneo. Visiteremo 4-5 diversi pub, ristoranti, caffetterie e bar e spiegherò perché noi cechi mangiamo quello che mangiamo. Parlerò della mia infanzia cresciuta a Praga, di come ho vissuto sotto il dominio comunista e risponderò a qualsiasi tua domanda. Parleremo anche delle trappole per turisti, di cosa non fare a Praga e vi darò tantissimi consigli e raccomandazioni non solo per Praga, ma per le vostre future destinazioni di viaggio. Perché sappiamo tutti quanto il cibo cattivo possa rovinare la tua vacanza.

Itinerario
Inizieremo il nostro tour gastronomico nel centro storico dove mangeremo il cibo ceco più tradizionale. Tra tutto il mangiare e il bere cammineremo verso la nostra prossima fermata e parlerò della storia ceca, dell'architettura e delle mie esperienze personali vivendo nella Repubblica ceca.
Visiteremo Piazza Venceslao e parlerò del nostro passato comunista e del presente democratico della Repubblica Ceca. Entreremo in politica e religione, ma solo se insisti e dopo un paio di birre ;)
Visiteremo i quartieri locali e futuri come Karlin o Vinohrady e parleremo della vita presente a Praga e nella Repubblica Ceca. Discuteremo di istruzione, sanità e congedo di maternità bevendo qualcosa e mangiando piaceri proibiti.

Food choices were excellent and tailored to our group. He is very personable and has a strong knowledge of the culture and history, which we greatly appreciated. Martin has an expansive knowledge of food styles and preparation and can provide recommendations of places to try based on your interests and preferences. The tour felt well paced, thoughtfully organized, and gave us a much better sense of Prague beyond the typical tourist experience. We left full, learned a great deal, and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city.
Great personalized experience with local and traditional Czech food! He was very knowledgeable about the history and tied it into the food experience. He tailored the experience to our preferences and made other recommendations for our trip. I would highly recommend!
We learned about and enjoyed classic dishes. Our guide, Martin, took us to a pub, restaurants and wine bar where we got to experience a variety of foods. Wonderful food tour! Martin showed us to 4 places where we enjoyed both traditional and modern Czech food and drink and ended with some coffee and dessert. Martin shared Czech history, sprinkled in current events, and he answered all our questions throughout. He was an amazing local guide with such pride for his country. Highly, highly recommend this tour. Come hungry!
We had a great time with Martin in Prague! He took us to 5 different places for traditional Czech food and beverages, while providing a lot of background and history on Czech customs. The portions were large and everything was delicious. We also walked a bit in between stops and he gave us some history and stories along the way. I highly recommend this tour!
What a stupendous tour with Martin. Martin showed us the best food and drink in Praha. We appreciated Martin's extensive knowledge of history, culture and all things culinary and his great sense of humor. Spending s day in meat-centric Praha with a butcher with as added plus. Our tour with Martin was excellent in every way. Just tell him what you want and he will tailor everything to your needs. In our case it was Czech food and beer. We all really enjoyed getting to know him over the course of the tour. 10 of 10 stars!
Martin took us on the most delicious food tour, highly recommend! We got to try some new things and everything was high quality. You will certainly get your money's worth and then some. Food, beer, coffee, lemonade, desserts were all so yummy. We also learned a lot about the city and its history and got to see a lot of areas. Martin went out of his way to give us lots of recommendations (and traps to avoid), he was so friendly and helpful.
