The walking tour captures great history events - some that you might know and other non well known facts while you enjoy the delicious cuisine of the North End.
We were a private group of 9 for team building and booked a few weeks in advance with Adam over email. He was super responsive and accommodating to food preferences & allergies. Adam is cheerful and his enthusiasm for showing us the North End and having us try some of his favorite foods is wonderful. His zeal for the North end food and knowledge created a fun atmosphere. We had a great time eating wonderful food, walking through the North End, and hearing history tidbits that may or may not have been taught in school. The food selection was amazing and looks exactly like what is on the website. Adam got separate items for those who can't eat particular foods that were planned. Everything including the separate items were very, very good. Plan for lots of walking on narrow, uneven, and also cobblestone streets. The tour was 3 full hours. There were two stops with bathroom breaks - towards the beginning and the end. Our tour was on a very hot, very sunny, July day and Adam provided cold bottles of water for those who didn't bring their own. Overall feedback from the team was that it was a great tour and a fun way to spend a summer Friday afternoon.
Adam was a great tour guide! The tour focused on the North end and we enjoyed the stops, history and various tasting. The cannoli was so good!! Everything was tasty!
We had a wonderful experience with Up and Adam. Adam took our work-related group of 13 around Boston’s North End for about three hours. The group included a mix of visitors from out of town and people who live in the Boston area, and he managed to make the tour interesting and enjoyable for everyone. He did an excellent job balancing history, food, and entertainment. He was knowledgeable without ever feeling overly scripted, and he kept the group engaged throughout. He was also very adaptable, adjusting smoothly to the pace and needs of a fairly large group. The tour felt well organized but still relaxed and personal. Adam was warm, funny, and informative, and he helped make the evening a real highlight of our meeting. I would absolutely recommend this tour, especially for work groups looking for an enjoyable and easy way to experience the North End together.
Excellent, very personal food tour – I've been on many around the world and Adam was an exceptional guide. Plenty of local information tailored to the group, and some fascinating food stops, some out of the way which we'd never have found ourselves. Definitely a great call to avoid the big tour companies and go with a local individual – you will not regret doing the same.
Our tour guide, Adam, was fantastic and super knowledgeable about Boston and the neighborhoods we walked through. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer. Most important was the incredible food! Each stop was great and included tasty food and generous portions. We enjoyed the small group experience. It gave us the opportunity to get to know each other, ask more questions and get interesting tidbits from other attendees as well. Highly recommend this tour
We had an amazing time! Adam is an incredible tour guide and knows so much history about the area. And the food was beyond delicious! I would Highly recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Boston!
We got a private tour just due to it being a slow day and it was great. My 18 year old son enjoyed it. Food was good, and several things I wouldn’t have tried on my own otherwise, although we did have to share a number of things rather than getting our own portions. It was plenty of food for me but my son was still hungry afterwards. Overall a great tour with good history of the area. About a mile of walking.
What an amazing tour with Adam. Very informative and as for the food!!! wow..... a must do when in Boston
Adam was a lovely tour guide and we got to try some amazing food! Most of the stops were not the typical selections so we really got to try some special items! Would recommend to anyone looking for good food and a friendly guide!
