We had a wonderful time on our Foodies Tour of Nice today, with Sasha as our guide, and she was absolutely delightful. Sasha was very professional, knowledgable and enjoyed sharing the history and delights of this beautiful city. We particularly enjoyed the old town with its narrow laneways and gorgeous small cafes and shops. We tasted a variety of snacks, both sweet and savoury, as well as naturally made wines that are very much a part of their local cuisine, and we thought that they were delicious. If you like food, and trying something new we would highly recommend this tour with Sasha.
Sasha and Donna were great hosts! We loved all of the restaurants we stopped at. Fried Zuchini flower for the win!!
Amazing experience learning about the food and culture of Nice.
I ended up being only person who booked on my day, but that said ended up being a very lovely and personalised experience. I loved that you're trying local food at local establishments run by local people. Not fine dining or anything viral on socials, it felt super authentic. Nicoise cuisine is very different so a great way to experience the culture and the old town. I would highly recommend!
What a tour! All the tour was well-thinking. I leave in Nice since two years but I learned a lot of new things about the history and the local specialities. I really liked the way that Michael explained us funny anecdotes and history. He's such a professional, he knows how to capture our attention. About the food, you won't be disappointed, there is a lot of different stops, which are really nice and surprising us. I must say that there is a very good amount of food. In this tour, I discovered a lot of places that I'm not used to go and now I will! And I want to add something about the ambiance, which was really good vibes! We were a group of 9 with Americans couple and Israelis and there were so friendly! We had a lot of fun! So If you want to have an exceptional moment, you should book a food tour! Thanks Biss and thanks Michael, the best guide!!!
Very good, highly recommend. Would do it all over again
A great walking, eating drinking tour of old Nice town. Michael our guide was very informative and let us have time for breaks as if was so hot. All the places we went too we would not have gone there ourselves, which was good. Trying the local fruits were so welcoming and tasty. The socca was also a revelation and filling too. The stop at the cheese and wine cafe was again superb, cheeses were out of this world and some unusual wines, may not have them again but was good to try. Finishing off with a pistachio pastry was messy but delicious. There were only 4 of us on the tour and we found that great as we had more time to speak to Michael and ask questions. Was also good to learn about the 12.00 gun which we hadn't eard before when we visited Nice in 2023. Highly recommend this tour.
We had Sasha for our tour and she was amazing. We tried all kinds of food that was local to Nice that we would not have ordinarily tried. I highly recommend her and this tour.
Really great tour around Nice old town, stopping to sample local Nicoise food was really interesting and to learn about history of French/Italy area. Stopped at some little cafes we would never had seen otherwise. Sampling different wines with some amazing cheeses was a great way to nearly end the tour. One final stop for a pistachi croissant was the best way to finish a great tour.
This tour was fab! Jeremy was friendly and super knowledgable and food was delicious!
