Really great tour with Ben. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job providing info on the San Andreas Fault and lots of info on the rock formations, wildlife (mainly birds).

We booked tickets for the Big Wheel San Andreas Fault Off-road tour and have to say our guide - Ben was absolutely amazing..more than words can describe! His in depth knowledge of the geology and even more impressive knowledge of the wildlife, especially the bird life was incredible. One of the best tour guides we have experienced. We highly recommend and suggest you try and have Ben as your guide.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour on April 11, 2026. Our guide, Ron, is very knowledgeable and informative about whatever we were seeing. He kept up a running commentary about what we were seeing on the way to the fault area, including farming practices and the rise and fall of the Salton Sea. We learned a lot about the violent geology, desert life and history of the area. I highly recommend the tour.

We had a great time! Ben was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We got to see some really cool scenery, and he taught us a lot about the geology, plants, and animals in the area.

Fantastic tour. Our guide Ron, was terrific. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything very well. He took us to the most incredible sights. Many times it looked like we were on another planet. Plus he had great snacks. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Mr. Chang was excellent!! Very knowledgeable, friendly and an excellent guide. He knew his subject and was very familiar about the terrain we traversed. Off road ride was comfortable, not rushed. Strongly recommended.

Our San Andreas Fault tour with Sarah of Big Wheel Tours was a highlight of our vacation. Sarah possesses a wealth of knowledge ranging from from wildlife to geology to flowers, and we were delighted to be able to learn quite a bit from her about the area. She also loves what she does and it clearly showed. Big Wheel Tours aims to please; I wanted to climb up the ladders to the slot canyons, and Sarah made sure to include this in our tour. It was obvious that the tour guide, Sara, had a lot of passion and was very knowledgeable regarding all the many things she was describing on the tour. We were fortunate to have had this experience with Sara.
