Questo tour è perfetto per i viaggiatori che vogliono vivere un'esperienza locale! Incontra il tuo esperto bilingue locale e scopri cosa vuol dire far parte della comunità di Firenze! Alla nostra prima tappa, faremo rifornimento con un po' di caffè italiano. Guarda la nostra cultura del caffè in prima persona e scopri perché è una parte così importante della nostra routine quotidiana. Successivamente, ci dirigeremo verso il vivace mercato locale per controllare i prodotti di stagione, incontrare macellai e pescatori locali e, naturalmente, fare un'altra deliziosa degustazione. Proseguendo, faremo una passeggiata nel centro della città, fermandoci in alcuni diversi negozi a conduzione familiare per assaggiare alcuni piatti tradizionali tra cui street food fiorentino, dolci toscani, olio d'oliva, salumi, formaggi, tartufo, aceto balsamico invecchiato, vino, e altro ancora! Termina il tour con un delizioso gelato locale preferito, un gelato ricco e cremoso! Questo tour a piedi includerà 5-6 fermate e 10 degustazioni!

Itinerario
Inizieremo nel quartiere molto locale di Sant'Ambrogio. Qui visiteremo alcuni piccoli negozi diversi per assaggiare i preferiti locali. Le nostre degustazioni lungo il tour includono di tutto, da cantucci, coccoli, pizzette, salumi, formaggi, olio d'oliva, tartufo e molto altro!
Dopo alcune degustazioni nella zona di Sant'Ambrogio, faremo poi una bella passeggiata per il centro cittadino serpeggiando e girando per le vie rionali per addentrarci in un altro quartiere locale.
Goditi la vista del Ponte Vecchio mentre proseguiamo con il nostro tour di degustazione!

I just went to find Christy's tour information for a friend and realized that I never wrote a review. I've been on a bunch of food tours over the years and this was one of my favorites. Even in a city crowded with tourists like Florence, you get a sense of how the locals live and eat. Christy is lovely and the food was great. Overall it was a fabulous experience.

Danilo was an amazing tour guide. He tailored the tour to our interests and provided a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for our first day in Florence! Our guide was Danilo who did a fantastic job of showing us some of the less touristy sides of Florence. He had a great relationship with the venues he took us to and it felt like a really special event. Danilo himself spoke excellent English, was knowledgeable (although it wasn’t a historical tour) and was super friendly. We learned lots and it definitely enriched our trip. We would definitely recommend him to friends. The tour wasn’t too long, in terms of distance. We made a slight mistake in walking to the start of the tour from our hotel, about an hour’s walk away, so we’re relieved not to be walking 20,000 steps across Florence.

Super fun, great food, wine and company. Our tour guide Tatiana was genuine, warm and kind. I’d recommend this tour to everyone - just super nice to walk around Florence and enjoy some fun conversation and local food/coffee/wine.

Christy was great, we really enjoyed the food tour. We booked for two and we were on our honeymoon. It was such a nice experience, food was amazing, coffee and wine too. We had a wonderful time with Christy. The food was well-paced and consistently delicious. The samples were small at each location, and all thoughtfully planned to showcase seasonal fruits and fresh ingredients. We appreciated the fact that we were not so stuffed that we could enjoy the food at each stop. We would absolutely do this again!

The guide was great. Very knowledgeable, pleasant and gave us a good insight into life in Florence from a local point of view. Was a casual pleasant walk around the old town. We weren’t very hungry so she adapted the tour to us quite well…but we could have done with more than 1 glass of wine however !

We were a group of 3 on this tour with Christy. We especially enjoyed her perspective as being raised in the U.S. but living in Italy for the past 10 years. She could communicate very naturally as both an American and a Native to Florence. The number of stops and variety of tastes made this tour very worthwhile, as well as the starting point near a fresh market just outside of the center of the city where you then proceed to walk toward the main center of Florence, made this an ideal tasting tour. We especially were impressed by the hidden gems like the sandwich shop and the wine cellar. I would highly recommend, especially as one of the first activities as a good orientation to the city.
