My teen son and I took this tour and couldn't have been more pleased. It was well paced, a comfortable ride, and we got to experience so many wonderful sites. Note that my son is 6'3" and he was comfortable. Only thing missing was lack of chargers at each seat (fortunately our guide generously allowed my son to charge his phone). The stops for meals and restroom were well timed, always in safe and enjoyable places. We got to see wild kangaroos and koalas. Rainbows at every turn. What a special day. The cherry on top to the day was that our guide, Ben, was AMAZING!! He was incredibly friendly and is THE best representative for Melbourne. By the end, I was convinced I should consider moving to the land down under. :) What an awesome person! He found ways to engage with us as a group as well as individually. If you are looking for an amazing capstone to your Australian vacation, do this - you won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely tour with Alisha! She went out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable. Enjoyed the conversation. The tour started with a tea stop that she organized with great muffins. The tour of the great ocean road was fantastic. It was well-timed with a great mix of walks, breaks, and sights along the way. We were lucky to see a koala and a few kangaroos on the way. A long day, but it was a lot of fun. Highly recommend Go West!!
We joined the Great Ocean Road Small-Group Eco Tour on 3 July, and we were lucky to have Michael as our guide! Michael is truly outstanding — passionate, knowledgeable, and patient. He shared fascinating insights about the various scenic spots along the Great Ocean Road, from the stunning coastal views to the unique forest features. Incredible day, so much packed in including surprises like stopping to see kangaroos on a cliffside and a koala and a giant rainbow, a rainforest walk, a helicopter ride over the 12 Apostles for extra price, and so many views!! Michael is awesome and gave so much info throughout the day!!

Our Go West Tour guide, Jono, was knowledgeable and very informative throughout this very long but wonderful day. We had opportunities to walk along the coast and enjoy the stunning ocean views The Great Ocean Road has to offer and also walk through a rain forest in the Otways, a total contrast. We were fortunate to see koalas in trees and a large pod of dolphins at one of our stops along the way. Jono made sure we had regular breaks to stretch our legs and grab food and drinks to refuel. His driving was excellent, even though he was driving what seamed a very old mini bus. I was shocked when a squeegee was passed around the bus to manually demist the large windows. The seats were tight which made the long drive uncomfortable for those that are taller. Please upgrade your buses Go West Tour's to make it easier for your tour guides and more comfortable for your sight seers.

We appreciate your comments regarding the vehicle. On cooler or wet days, condensation can build up on the windows as guests return to the vehicle in damp clothing, and - despite perfectly functioning air extraction system - a squeegee is sometimes the quickest and most effective way to restore visibility for everyone on board. While we understand this may have come as a surprise, it helps ensure guests can continue enjoying the spectacular scenery. We also appreciate your comments regarding seating comfort. Our fleet is purpose-selected for small-group touring, but we recognise that comfort preferences vary, particularly on a full-day journey. This was an awesome tour with so many great sights. Tim, our guide, was very informative, friendly and made sure we got everywhere on time. We had good amounts of time in each location, plus there was a bonus option to do a Twelve Apostles helicopter trip. Prepare for a long day - I was picked up at 7.10am and got back to my hotel at 8.45pm - but absolutely worth it.

Great experience with our tour guide Bluey today. He was a good communicator and his stories and bus games were interesting and fun! We all enjoyed our day full of beauty and getting to know the Great Ocean Road landmarks. What a gorgeous place. Bluey made sure we saw the sights and he was kind and enjoyable. Timing was well planned and breaks were perfect. Wonderful experience. 10 out of 10!
Great experience and lovely views despite some rain here and there. Jools was an awesome guide. Caution: might get motion sickness due to the winding road. Come prepared if you’re prone to it.
