Questo tour ti porterà da Seoul alla DMZ (Zona Demilitarizzata) che è un luogo storico molto unico, educativo e contemporaneo. Il Terzo Tunnel, scoperto nel 1978, è un tunnel segreto di infiltrazione costruito dalla Corea del Nord negli anni '70 come parte della sua strategia militare per invadere il Sud. Situato a soli 52 chilometri da Seoul, il tunnel misura 1.635 metri di lunghezza, circa 1,95 metri di altezza e 2,1 metri di larghezza, abbastanza grande da consentire il passaggio di truppe armate. Il Parco Dora presenta sculture che trasmettono significato storico e un messaggio di pace ai visitatori.
Inaugurato nel 2016, questo ponte – il ponte sospeso di montagna più lungo della Corea del Sud – offre un’esperienza emozionante, come se si camminasse sopra le nuvole. Il ponte è chiamato The Gloucester Heroes Bridge in onore dell'eroico traguardo della soldati del Gloucestershire Regiment che combatterono contro l'esercito comunista cinese durante la guerra di Corea per difendere Seolmari fino all'ultimo e bloccare l'avanzata cinese su Seoul per tre giorni.

Great tour. I am 66 and physically is was a bit challenging. Would add a bit of a lunch break featuring korean food. Tour guide was excellent!

IMO this is a must do when visiting South Korea. I was keen to visit the DMZ and learn more around the history of the Korean War. The highlight of the tour was our guide Hee-Soo. I can’t praise her enough. There are not enough stars to award her. The talk with the defector was a profound experience for me, hearing their story, getting to ask them questions, the lived experience. Getting a peak into the North at the observatory was great, and the visit to the third tunnel was amazing. But I warn you - if you’re not fit, you will struggle to climb back up the highly inclined path through the tunnel. Also, if you’re tall - be prepared to spend most of the time bent down to avoid hitting your head. The suspension bridge was a hike to get to, but definitely worth it. The views are spectacular and serene. Overall, be prepared to walk, hike, have your heart pumping with the exercise you need to pack into the day. All in all, great experience.
