This tour is a great full-day adventure. Korean history, culture, a taste of the great outdoors all rolled into one wonderful day. Our tour guide, Juan, was fabulous and went out of his way to make us feel like friends instead of just clients. In fact, we ran into him the next day in Seoul and he greeted us like old friends. We are looking forward to booking another adventure with Viator in the future.

Good day out. Guide was good. Popular tour. Had to leave at 0630 to ensure entry without delay. We were second group in. This requires some level of fitness. There is some walking and access to the tunnel is steep getting out but well designed. Other stops like suspension bridge were also good. Only negative is drop off is not the same as hotel pick up. Needed to get a taxi back to hotel from drop off. If it’s raining it may take some time to get a taxi
We booked this guided tour to the DMZ, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. She kindly offered to pick us up earlier near our accommodation, which saved us time and made the morning much more convenient. Throughout the day, she was incredibly helpful—not only during the DMZ tour itself, but also with all our questions about traveling in Korea, including recommendations for vegan restaurants and shopping spots. As a guide, Joo-Ee was knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. We had an amazing experience on this DMZ tour! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and we were able to make the most of every stop without ever feeling rushed. Our guide Joo-Ee was absolutely fantastic, very welcoming, incredibly knowledgeable, and an excellent storyteller. She brought the history of the korean conflict to life with fascinating explanations and engaging anecdotes that made the whole experience even more meaningful. Everything ran exactly on schedule, while still giving us plenty of time to enjoy each attraction. She was also extremely accommodating and always happy to help with any requests or questions, making sure everyone had the best possible experience.
