La penisola di Dingle ha incredibili paesaggi di montagna e antichità insolite da vedere mentre viaggi intorno a questa spettacolare penisola. Ci si ferma sulla famosa spiaggia di Inch, una delle spiagge più famose in Irlanda, che è un sito di straordinaria bellezza naturale. Poi verso l'unità più occidentale d'Europa, conosciuta come la guida di Slea Head. Lasciati incantare dalla costa atlantica mentre viaggi su questa spettacolare strada che abbraccia la costa occidentale. Goditi splendide vedute delle isole Blasket e magari anche di vedere la "Isola dei Giganti addormentati". Ti fermerai anche nella città di Dingle. Questa è una delle città di pescatori più pittoresche in Irlanda, ed è anche famosa per Fungi il delfino che è stato un locale per quasi 30 anni. La città di Dingle è il cuore e l'anima della penisola. Oggi attira visitatori, tra artisti e musicisti, da tutto il mondo.

Itinerario
Lasciamo l'ufficio del turismo di Bridge Street, (vicino al ponte di St Patrick's Bridge) alle 8.30 del mattino.
Ci dirigiamo verso la contea di Kerry e la città di Killarney. Qui attraversiamo i confini della contea in cima alle montagne di Cork e Kerry famose nella canzone "Whiskey in the Jar". Ci dirigiamo verso Killarney con una magnifica vista sulla montagna più alta d'Irlanda, il Carrauntoohil
Regolarmente votata la città più bella in Irlanda, Killarney è la porta d'ingresso sia al Ring of Kerry che alla penisola di Dingle. Immerso nella valle sotto la più alta catena montuosa dell'Irlanda e circondato dai laghi, Killarney vanta alcuni dei paesaggi più belli dell'Irlanda. Fiancheggiata da graziosi negozi, pub e negozi di arte e artigianato tradizionali, questa vera gemma è assolutamente da non perdere per tutti i viaggiatori che visitano la nostra patria.
Inch Beach è una delle spiagge più famose in Irlanda e si estende per 3 miglia di fronte all'Oceano Atlantico ed è rinomata per il surf e la pesca. Le sue sabbie dorate sono diventate famose sul grande schermo come è apparso in molti film, in particolare Ryan's Daughter e Playboy of Western World, che è stato interamente girato lungo la costa.
Slea Head drive on the Wild Altanic Way è considerata da molte riviste fotografiche la penisola più bella del mondo ed è stata recentemente votata l'area numero uno per gli scatti drammatici. La strada si snoda attraverso la lingua gaelica di Corca Dhuibhne a partire dalla spiaggia di Ventry passando dalle capanne degli alveari di 4000 anni e poi a Dunquin con una vista mozzafiato sulla grande isola di Blasket e sul Gigante addormentato. La penisola ha favolose spiagge a Coonenoole e Clogherhead dove è stato girato il film Far and Away. Guidiamo attraverso il bellissimo villaggio di Ballyferriter.
Quindi facciamo tappa a Dingle Village. Affascinante villaggio di pescatori di lingua gaelica famoso in molti film come Far and Away e Ryan's Daughter, Dingle è celebrato per avere la maggior parte dei pub in Irlanda per una città delle sue dimensioni, 52 pub e 2000 persone. Non possiamo dimenticare il residente più famoso di Dingle, Fungi the Dolphin.
Dopo una giornata piena di divertimento sulla Dingle Penninsula, torniamo sulle montagne a Cork, dove puntiamo ad arrivare alle 19 circa.

The trip was on a lovely but warm day. The coach to Dingle was extremely uncomfortable, and the tour was rushed. The coach driver was very nice and did the best he could.
Beautiful day and exceptional scenery. The only negative aspect was the bus was without air conditioning for most of the day which really wasn't nice on an exceptionally hot day.
Would definitely give no stars if there was an option. First of all the driver didn't even bother to turn on the aircon when there's around 30degrees outside. We had to ask him to do it as my nephew almost vomited on the bus... As this is his 1st time in Ireland when he saw some nice views through the window he would ask some questions. The driver reprimanded me in front of evervone that I cannot talk and need to listen to what he is saying... we were not speaking loudly and only when there was really a need for it. The driver made rude comments over the mic 3 more times....absolutely disrespectful and rude attitude. I didnt know this is "in silence trip where noone is allowed to talk during 9hrs trip".. . He didnt stop at all during Slea Head Drive where all other buses did stop and there was a car park everywhere. Didn't stop at all for Dunquin Pier, when previously said he would... We spending a full day on the bus and he is only stopping so we can take pics from inside of the bus.... Absolutely a waste of money, time and shocking service. Booked Paddywagon for the 1st and last time. Extremely poor quality of trip. Dont recommend! Btw...he hit a bird on the way and didnt even bother to remove it...kept driving with it all day
A nice tour with unfortunately a lot of time on the bus; given the distance, it cannot be otherwise, but one should know this in advance. The driver was very nice and shared a lot of interesting information.
A great day with lovely views, knowledgeable drivers, and cute destinations. Michael did a wonderful job of explaining it all to us and navigating the narrow, windy roads. He was brilliant.
It was a great day. Drivers terrific. Can I say though too much time lost in Killarney with changing buses.
Our driver Connor took us from Cork to Killarney where we split groups and hopped in with Michael. At this stop, get acsnack in the outlet mall because you won’t eat until 2 or 3 pm. There are toilets on the second level of the mall. Connor was very friendly and explained everything. If you miss out on the food at the mall, there’s ice cream at Inch Beach. Important: For the best views, sit on the left side (opposite the driver). Trust me, you will see breathtaking views and you won’t regret it. The road is windy in spots and you are on the edge of the cliff. Incredibly beautiful!! You end up in the tiny and cute village of Dingle. Our driver recommended a place to eat and the fish and chips were delicious. It’s the place the drivers eat and service is quick. You will have time to shop a bit and take photos of the harbour. Enjoy!
Long day in sense its 10.5 hrs, operators ask not to eat food in buses so advise get a mid morn snack as we didnt stop for lunch until 230. Great trip in sense of what to see and do. Completed the 32 counties with this trip to Kerry. Beautiful scenery in the gaeltach area.
Dingle peninsula is absolutely beautiful. Lunch is late in day so be sure to grab food at first stop or eat a big breakfast
Bus broke down on top a sleigh head road cliff area lost time in Dingle got back late had travel plans had to cancel bus to Galway and loose a night in hotel and pay for another one in cork. Accident before trip left so we also left late because driver was stuck in traffic.
