This was such a wonderful day trip with Anna. She had a lot of local information as well as anecdotes to share which we enjoyed a lot. We appreciated the experience she has in this area and all she did to make our day personal and enjoyable.
What a lovely tour. History explanations, cultural antecdotes and stories told in a personal way contributed to the excellent experience. We took the tour with English language with no issues in communication. Helpful hints revised to us in advance helped made our castle tour even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Tyrol Travel for a stress free enjoyable experience
An amazing experience, made even better by our Guide. We learned a bit of history about the people and region as well as King Ludwig. Not only did we make it to Neuschwanstein Castle for on-time entry, we had plenty of time for pictures and stopping along the way to Ehrenberg Castle to walk across a suspension bridge. If you are thinking of visiting Neuschwanstein Castle, book this tour!!!
An absolute wonderful day with Anna. The meeting location was fully explained with several emails before the trip. It definitely was a full day experience with a well organized plan on walking up to the castle, since tickets are timed to enter. Anna explained the best way to make the most of walking through the castle. Prior to our timed ticket we walked to the bridge that provides incredible views of the castle perched on the hill. On the way back to Innsbruck we stopped at the suspension bridge for those that wanted to walk it. The price is not included in the ticket to the castle, but was so worth the experience to do it. Anna also explained and helped us purchase the tickets depending on what you wanted to do. She also was kind enough to stop at some scenic spots on our drive back for some great photo opportunities. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this full day small group tour to friends or family. Just be prepared to get to the castle, it is an uphill walk.
Anna is amazing!!! Thank you for the great tour! We laughed a ton and learned a lot about Neuschwanstein!! Highly recommend booking with her!
Booked six months before tour, then they cancelled 4 days before the date. Way too late notice to be able to book with other tour groups and made us scramble and spent extra money right before our trip.
Dear Trevor Inscho, Thank you very much for your information. You booked the small group tour to Neuschwanstein. In the tour description, it clearly states that the tour could be canceled if there are not enough participants. We work in accordance with Austrian labor law and regulations, which means we have minimum costs for the full-day tour, including taxes, insurances, salaries, and tickets (to be paid) and other. Below that cost we are not allowed to provide the tour according to Austrian regulations (which are very serious here). Before cancellation, we have communicated with you, explaining situation and we have provided you with different solutions for that date : 1. You were offered joining a small-group tour to the Dolomites at the same cost as your original tour, which required only your written confirmation and no other activities to be done (we have hold places for you). You rejected that option. 2. You were also offered a private tour to Neuschwanstein, but you refused to discuss that option. Yes, this option cost more the a group tour. 3 Additionally, we offered you a complimentary self-guided tour of Innsbruck as a gift, which was granted to you. We did everything we could do to ensure you could spend your day in best possible way, but we cannot help someone who refuses all possible help. We have provided full refund for this tour and there were no extra costs. If you had to spent any extra money somewhere else - the only reason for this is only your inflexibility and your desire to get a private tour for a small group tour price. In high season most of the small group tours from Innsbruck are getting enough amount of participants for the tour to be provided. But in some cases some guest (who did booking half a year ago and was holding the spot of other possible participants ) are canceling tour in last moment(1-2 days before the tour), without giving any explanation. Of course, that is not great, but we understand that and accept that. Unfortunately, that can affect the tour in the end, because it decreases amount of participants. The such cases we offer possible solutions for the guest and until now every our guest was able to find suitable for him option. In case you want to be 100% sure in tour, we recommend to book a private tour. We recommend to read carefully the tour description and be open for all possible communications. Wish you a nice stay on Europe, Anna
Amazing trip, Marin was an awesome guide. He made the day enjoyable and ensured that we were able to do and see everything. Without a guide it would have been much harder logistically.
Incredible. Would go back over and over. Knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Be prepared first a lot of walking-uphill. Worth it!
The trip from Innsbruck to Neuschwanstein Castle was very enjoyable. The drive offered beautiful views of the mountains, with a mix of green hills and rocky peaks. The castle itself was impressive and worth the visit. Our guide, Anna, was friendly and helpful, sharing interesting facts without rushing the group. The pace of the tour was comfortable, and there was enough time to take photos and enjoy the scenery. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a nice way to spend the day.
Stunning experience! The ride alone is stunning, guides are professional and very easy / relaxed with conversation - very well organized and the Castle / Suspension bridge exceeded our expectations! So very please with rhis now special memory!
