Pick up dalla tua Guida locale da Cairns, Spiagge o Port Douglas. Nota : Alloggio Southside - si prega di recarsi presso l'ufficio del tour operator per partecipare al tour.
Goditi un leggero rinfresco prima di una crociera sul fiume Daintree di 1 ora. Rilassati e goditi lo splendore che solo la foresta pluviale di Daintree può offrire mentre impari e provi ad avvistare i coccodrilli estuari in natura e vedere le foreste di mangrovie e la fauna endemica, questa è la natura al suo meglio!
Ci incamminiamo verso l'Alexandra Range e ci fermiamo per una vista panoramica del patrimonio mondiale, dei Tropici umidi e della foresta pluviale tropicale che si fondono con i colori azzurri del Mar dei Coralli.
Parco nazionale di Daintree, Tropici umidi del patrimonio mondiale. Vivi intimamente la foresta pluviale su una delle nostre passerelle guidate sopraelevate del Parco Nazionale. La tua guida esperta ti condurrà in un meraviglioso viaggio attraverso questa antica foresta pluviale dandoti un'interpretazione della flora e della fauna e avrai tutto il tempo per le fotografie e le domande mentre cerchiamo l'inafferrabile, raro e totalmente unico Casuario meridionale e altre specie di fauna selvatica all'interno di questo particolare habitat.
Pranzo e una nuotata - incluso tè / caffè e un piatto di frutta di stagione viene servito in una splendida cornice di foresta pluviale con l'opportunità di una nuotata tonificante nella foresta pluviale tra cui avvistamenti casuali di persico della giungla, tartarughe dal guscio di sega e l'abbagliante farfalla elettrica-azzurro Ulisse.
Passeggia lungo la spiaggia e passeggia sul lungomare fino alla piattaforma dei fotografi che si affaccia sulle montagne e sulla costa dove la "foresta pluviale incontra la barriera corallina".
La giornata si conclude con un delizioso gelato alla frutta tropicale a base di ingredienti 100% di provenienza locale (coppa di gelato Signature inclusa).
Traversata in funivia attraverso il fiume Daintree prima di tornare al vostro Alloggio nel tardo pomeriggio.

This was a perfect tour with Billy Tea Safaris for me and my husband and our four children ages 10-18 (tourists from NC, USA). The entire day could not have been any better. Our guide John made the entire journey so memorable by filling the day with teachings about the area, the rainforest, the flora and fauna in the area, plenty of fun crocodile stories and history, and he was very intent on making sure each and every guest was well attended to. He was a very good driver and the van was very comfortable with seatbelts for all. The size of the trip was very manageable and did not feel too large. The boat trip on the river itself was exactly as we had hoped and we saw ~10 crocodiles and had plenty of time for photos. We enjoyed the tea right before the boat trip. The lunch spot was wonderful and the walk down to the creek was a beautiful oasis to get the privilege of exploring. We enjoyed the various stops to see the different ecologies and plants. We enjoyed the refreshing fresh fruit ice creams at the end of the afternoon. Plenty of time for breaks to use facilities. Driving back to Port Douglas, John placed some very etched-in-my-memories traditional Australian songs that I will always remember ("Waltzing Matilda" and "I am You are We are Australian" the latter of which is now our anthem of our trip to Australia.) All of us - adults and children - enjoyed the day thoroughly. I felt sad when the day ended as it was absolutely perfect, and I would highly recommend without reservation.

We had a great day exploring with Gram! His stories were entertaining and fascinating. Beautiful part of the world, stunning. We saw 2 crocodiles and a family of Cassowaries. The whole day was well planned, never felt rushed and size of group was small. Lunch was delicious. Highly recommend!
It was a long day but value for money, Graeme was an excellent tour guide, very informative and easy going, at first I thought a bit expensive but at the end of day well worth the experience.
Our guide Warren was beyond exceptional. His knowledge of the area and fauna and flora is superb and he is so interesting, attentive and was a dream Guide.
Amazing full day adventure. We loved every minute. Our guide Mike was amazing, so knowledgeable. The Daintree walk was very easy with so many things to look at. We especially loved the ice cream - really lovely, delicate flavours.
We really enjoyed this tour. It’s a full day but well balanced between variety of activities, entertainment and exploration of Daintree with easy walks. Warren is a great guide - knowledgeable, enthusiastic, with lots of real life experience. Relatively small groups, great food. We recommend this tour to those exploring QLD
