Itinerario
Viaggiamo nel Namib Naukluft Park e nel deserto più antico del mondo, il Namib Desert. La tua guida turistica spiegherà l'origine del deserto del Namib e le condizioni geologiche e climatiche di questo deserto costiero. Man mano che procediamo oltre, lasciamo ogni traccia di civiltà alle spalle e ci troviamo circondati da uno scenario aspro e roccioso noto come "paesaggio lunare". Scopri le affascinanti piante del Namib, ad esempio le succulente autoctone, oltre a una varietà di licheni rari e, soprattutto, la straordinaria pianta Welwitschia, un fossile vivente che si trova solo in questa area geografica. Con un po' di leccate possiamo vedere Springbok, Klipspringer, Steenbok, Baboon, Ostriches, Ruppels Korhaan e il Trac-trac Chat. Dopo una pausa pranzo al sacco, guidiamo lungo il letto asciutto del fiume della valle di Swakop, fiancheggiata da alberi di tamerici, prosopis e ana. Superiamo l'Oasi "Goanikontes" e concludiamo il nostro tour con una visita alle dune mobili vicino a Swakopmund.

A great trip into the namib desert.our tour guide come driver for the day Mr Hanz was just amazing.He was a walking and talking encyclopaedia of the desert… so knowledgeable about the floral and fauna of the region… the different rock formations… colours of the sand dunes… history…I could just go on! A big thank you for educating us on the very existence of the Namib desert.

Today we did the half-day tour in the Namib desert with Hans and we absolutely enjoyed it. First of all, Hans is one of the kindest guides ever, with an amazing amount of knowledge. You can ask him almost anything, and he’ll provide you with an answer. Secondly, when we told him we wanted to see the dunes, he offered to bring us to the dunes so we could climb them and make pictures. So thoughtful! And last, but definitely not least, the tour through the desert was just amazing. The vast plains, the beautiful moon landscape, the Swakop river bedding, the welwitschia plant, it was amazing. Thank you Hans, for the great company and the lovely day!
