Very heavy to see history in its actual site but a must see. Be very careful when leaving names of visitors, I was denied entry into first part of museum as the name on ticket was not deemed same as my passport.. Krakov is beautiful, perfect place for meals and some sight seeing.
This tour is one of the best that I have joined in terms of the helpfulness/ responsiveness of the tour operator, smooth end to end execution of the itinerary from hotel pick up to the actual tour , coordination with the guide and driver, and back to hotel. The sequence is good because it starts with the 2 camps, which is emotionally loaded then finishing at Krakow which is grandeous/ beautiful. We have to change a guest a few days prior to the tour and while there was risk that it might not be allowed at the museum, the tour operator was able to negotiate for us which was awesome. A little tip to the tourists, when you have a pitstop going to auschwitz, eat a heavy meal because you will not have a chance to eat when you start the tour. the next meal is dinner already at Krakow. I definitely recommend this tour. plus they have Topnotch /very helpful driver- thank you Mateusz!
Excellent coordination and communication! Transportation was on time and very comfortable! Tour guides were excellent! Thank you for this memorable experience!
This tour was an unforgettable and deeply moving experience. The itinerary included visits to both Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps, followed by some free time to explore and enjoy the beautiful old town centre of Krakow. The historical sites were incredibly powerful and thought-provoking, and there was enough time allocated to fully absorb and reflect on everything. While the tour started very early — with a 3:20 AM pickup from Warsaw — it was necessary to make our allocated museum entry time. We returned around 8:00 PM, making it a very long day overall. However, the van/bus was clean and comfortable throughout the journey. One note: the drivers were polite but did not speak English, so communication was limited during transport. Despite the early start and long travel, I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit these important historical sites from Poland. It’s a long day, but well-organized and absolutely worth it.
What can you say about being in a car for 14 hours? Our guide Magic was entertaining and we talked the entire time. He was a great driver and told us a lot about being a Pole in today's world. Krakow was cool and Aushwitcz was a place to see once in your lifetime. How sad.
Great and knowledgeable driver and guide! The experience was professional and also enjoyable from the beginning to the end. Would recommend this tour to everyone.
Very good tour guide. The driver was also great, well worth it. Highly recommended and would do it again.
Our driver Matheusz was amazing - it was a long journey there and back and he was helpful and a very safe driver
A very well organised day - Krakow and Auschwitz in one day. Very good balance between free time and guided tour time. Agnieszka answered all the questions. Our driver, Maciej, was more than just a driver - by the end of the trip we felt that we were old friends. He gave us lots of historical, cultural and economical insights, as well as shared various practical tips. The Auschwitz part was very informative and of course sad and shocking - but we felt that everyone need to learn about this tragic time in history. Overall, the tour was one of the best things we did in Poland. Having a private car meant we had flexibility in terms of breaks, times etc. Highly recommend!
