Goditi un rilassante ritiro dalla tua posizione e inizia il viaggio attraverso Ubud con il tuo autista e guida di lingua inglese. Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Jalan Raya Ceking, Tegalalang 80517 Indonesia Tegalalang Rice Fields vicino a Ubud, dove si pratica il subak (un tradizionale sistema di irrigazione cooperativa balinese). Secondo la storia locale, il subak fu tramandato da un venerato sant'uomo di nome Rsi Markandeya nell'VIII secolo. Ammirate la vista da qui che si estende fino alle terrazze di riso sui pendii di tutta la valle.

Cascata di Tegenungan La cascata di Tegenungan è una delle attrazioni naturali più popolari di Bali, con una splendida vista della cascata che cade da un'altezza di circa 15 metri, producendo un rilassante ruggito dell'acqua. Intorno alla cascata c'è una lussureggiante foresta verde, che la rende il luogo perfetto per rilassarsi e godersi la bellezza naturale di Bali.
Pura Taman Saraswati è uno dei punti di riferimento più popolari di Ubud. La caratteristica più notevole del pura è il suo laghetto di loto e il giardino d'acqua, che segnano l'area esterna del tempio vero e proprio. Alberi di plumeria (frangipani) decorano i bordi dello stagno, mentre l'accesso rettilineo simile a un ponte è decorato con sculture in paras (tufo vulcanico) di figure mitologiche indù. Molte di queste statue sono opera di Lempad. L'accesso al santuario interno è fornito da tre porte kori agung in mattoni rossi. Il kori agung centrale è il più grande di questi cancelli ed è fiancheggiato da due alti alberi di plumeria.[
Jungle Swing è un'attrazione che offre ai turisti un'esperienza unica per cavalcare un'altalena sospesa sopra le valli e le foreste tropicali di Bali, i visitatori possono provare la sensazione di oscillare dall'alto con uno scenario mozzafiato come sfondo.
Santuario della Foresta Sacra delle Scimmie. Osservando le scimmie giocose nel loro habitat naturale, dondolandosi tra le tettoie, oziando lungo i sentieri o nutrendosi di banane, il sito offre fantastiche passeggiate lungo sentieri asfaltati attraverso una frondosa foresta di noce moscata. In tutta la foresta sono presenti anche bellissimi templi antichi con statue guardiane ricoperte di muschio. Coloro che soggiornano fuori Ubud e vengono per un tour di un giorno di solito hanno la Foresta delle scimmie di Ubud come tappa obbligata.

We took a full-day Bali excursion: Tegenungan Waterfall, Monkey Forest, and a temple — the itinerary was incredibly rich and beautiful. Tegenungan Waterfall impressed the most: the frames turned out like from a travel guide, the air was fresh and invigorating. Uphills and downhills required a bit of patience, but comfortable shoes and good roads made everything smooth. Monkey Forest was thrilling and full of surprises, while the guide Nick kept things under control and showed us how to enjoy the moment safely. The comfortable car was especially impressive — spacious, clean, and punctual, making the transfers easy and pleasant. Nick was a true source of energy and knowledge: the stories were engaging, questions got quick answers, and the day maintained a mood of trust and joy. The temple at the end of the day added quiet and magic, leaving a sense of full immersion in Balinese culture.

Very good and patient driver, the sites around Ubud are very nice. We went to a temple, a Balinese traditional house and a rice field with swings that have photo/drone photo options. We didn't have time to do a waterfall visit but they looked good.

We had an unforgettable day exploring Bali with our driver, Nik. He took us to some of the island's most breathtaking spots, including the stunning Tegalalang Rice Terraces, the famous waterfall, and the Monkey Forest in Ubud. Each stop was incredible, and Nik’s professionalism, kindness, and great company made the experience even better. We also had a fantastic lunch at Bali Pulina, where we enjoyed delicious food with a beautiful view. Nik ensured everything went smoothly and made us feel comfortable the entire time.
