Itinerario
L'escursione inizia dal tuo hotel, aeroporto o punto di incontro. Dopo un viaggio di 1 ora, arriverai alla cittadina medievale di Ston dove farai una bella passeggiata sulle mura della città di Ston. Dopo questa passeggiata di circa 30 minuti, procederemo verso le saline. Imparerai a conoscere il processo tecnologico per ottenere il sale marino e la sua eccellente qualità. Al termine del tour, andremo al castello di Klis prima di Spalato, circa 1 ora e 30 minuti.
Costruita sulle scogliere calcaree fuori Spalato, l'imponente fortezza di Klis (Tvrdava Klis) era un tempo un'importante roccaforte difensiva tra il Mediterraneo ei Balcani. Ospitava la sede di molti re croati, anche se al giorno d'oggi è meglio conosciuta come location cinematografica per la città immaginaria di Meereen nella serie Game of Thrones. Questa attrazione puoi vedere in 1h 30min. Dopo dobbiamo guidare per 30 minuti fino al centro di Spalato.
Dopo Klis 30-45 minuti inizi il tour a Split Riva, il lungomare di Spalato. Attraverso la Bronze City Gate, si entra nel seminterrato del palazzo. Le cantine a volta sono intatte e molto ben conservate dopo più di 1700 anni. Poi si passa alla parte sacra del palazzo, il Peristilio, e alla Cattedrale, che un tempo era il mausoleo di Diocleziano. Il tempio pagano di Giove divenne battistero nel VII secolo. Camminerai lungo Cardo, l'antica strada principale del palazzo, e ammirerai il Golden Gate. Quindi puoi pranzare, prendere un caffè o bere intorno alle 2:45. Dopodiché, ci incontriamo nella zona di rilascio e torniamo in hotel intorno alle 2h e 30min. Inoltre, se hai bisogno di qualcosa in più, siamo flessibili per rendere il tuo viaggio perfetto.

Mateo is so gracious and friendly. His car is very comfortable and he is a very safe and efficient driver. We made excellent time on the round trip and he was very flexible in timing so we could utilize our time how we wanted to. He’s given us terrific local tips for restaurants and local sights. If you’re doing a day trip to Split (or other activity) I highly recommend Mateo. He’s great with kids, and totally easy going.

Mateo was an excellent tour guide! He put together 2 personalized tours for our group. The first was to Perast and Kotor Montenegro from Dubrovnik. The second was from Dubrovnik to Split, going through Mostar and hitting many other great sights along the way. A highlight was the lunches he arranged for us both days! In Mostar we sat over looking the bridge at Terace Legaro. The food was amazing and the view is incredible. He had the best table in the place reserved for us ahead of time. His tours are well thought out and well planned. He even sends pictures at the end of the day. He is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend!

Mateo was simply the best, he not only ensured we get to see so many amazing places, but kept the journey very comfortable, taking us through some of the most scenic paths, and at same time, explaining about the salient aspects of the place. He is well informed and an amazing sense of the entire region (not a single time, saw him using Google maps). We used his service while transiting from Dubrovnik to Split and on the way took us through the Botanical garden, Ston, Blagaj, Mostar, Kravice waterfalls. Would strongly recommend Mateo to anyone looking for a private taxi operator to travel across Croatia!!
