Visita la famosa Fortezza di Nizwa. Camminando attraverso la fortezza si arriva a vedere viste meravigliose dell'antica città e delle montagne vicine. Questa imponente fortezza era una base usata dai militari per resistere agli attacchi e agli assedi più duri. Poi Nizwa Souq, un mercato locale che offre una varietà di merci tra cui gioielli, ceramiche, pesce e carne. Al Hamra per visitare il villaggio dove sperimenteremo come la gente del posto creava uno stile di vita nei tempi antichi. Misfah al Abryeen qui vedrai il grande sistema idrico di Falaj che fornisce acqua alla vegetazione vicina. Ci sono numerosi sentieri segnalati in tutto il villaggio che si consiglia di prendersi il proprio tempo ed esplorare.

Itinerario
Partiamo da Mascate per Nizwa, verso le 8:30, l'antica capitale dell'Oman. Facciamo una visita alla famosa Fortezza di Nizwa. Oggi il forte è un museo che mette in mostra la storia del forte e dell'area circostante. Camminando attraverso la fortezza si arriva a vedere viste meravigliose dell'antica città e delle montagne vicine. Questa imponente fortezza era una base usata dai militari per respingere gli attacchi e gli assedi più duri.
Accanto alla fortezza si trova il grande Nizwa Souq, un mercato locale che offre una varietà di prodotti tra cui gioielli, ceramiche, pesce e carne.
Dopo, decolleremo ad Al Hamra per visitare il vecchio villaggio dove sperimenteremo come la gente del posto creava uno stile di vita nei tempi antichi.
Dopo questo breve tour, ci spostiamo a Misfah al Abryeen, un villaggio davvero incontaminato che si annida alla base di Jebel Shams. Qui vedrai il grande sistema idrico di Falaj che fornisce acqua alla vegetazione vicina. Ci sono numerosi sentieri segnalati in tutto il villaggio che si consiglia di prendersi il proprio tempo ed esplorare. Nel tardo pomeriggio, torniamo a Muscat, in Oman.

A great day out in Nizwa, starting with a visit to the old city and the fort, which offered fascinating insight into the region’s history and culture. The trip continued on to Al Hamra and Misfah, both of which were highlights with their traditional architecture and scenery. Our family had a wonderful 5 night trip in Oman. We booked our itinerary with Star Tour Oman and our guide:Khalid AlRaqadi was amazing! He catered our experience to our needs and was patient with our children. We had an amazing time hiking Wadi Shab, exploring Nizwa and touring through Muscat. My mum and I spent three incredible days with our tour guide Ali and learned that saying goodbyes was much harder than we expected! :) Ali looked after us really well every day and treated us with the most delicious Karak chai on the way to all different beautiful places. We started with a Muscat tour, continued with the Wadi Bani Khalid and Wahiba Sands the next day and finished our three-day experience with Nizwa and Misfat Al Abriyeen tour. The tours were truly fascinating, everything was incredibly well-planned, communication was very smooth from the beginning: starting from scheduling the trips with the fantastic assistance of Roda and finishing with Ali constantly keeping in touch with us, always being so accommodating and hospitable throughout the whole time. We cannot thank you enough for such a warm welcome to Oman and we know we will be back inshAllah! شكرا جزيلا and see you soon Ali!
