Per prima cosa guideremo per 1h30 fino a Mont-Saint-Michel. Mont Saint Michel è il sito più visitato della Normandia e uno dei siti più visitati della Francia. La prima costruzione sulla roccia fu realizzata nel 708. Pochi decenni dopo, divenne un importante luogo di pellegrinaggio per tutti i cristiani del mondo. Grazie al lavoro della comunità religiosa del Mont, il sito è stato visto come un riferimento intellettuale in Europa dove sono stati scritti migliaia di libri, manoscritti e carte. Nel XIX secolo, l'importanza di Mont Saint Michel era in declino e divenne una prigione dopo la Rivoluzione francese nel 1789. Dal 1793 al 1863, il sito ebbe la peggiore reputazione e fu soprannominato la Bastiglia dei mari... Our tour to Mont Saint Michel was perfect. Anna picked us up at our hotel in Bayeux, and the day was just right for us. Her driving was excellent, and she made sure to get us to the right place for the shuttle. With some walking issues, we were pleased to be able to do and see a lot without difficulty. It was a beautiful experience.
We went with Yanick from HQ tours and he was wonderful. The tour was very informative and it was nice to have a guide in the city with you and going through the Abbey.
Great tour with our guide Val. He was very knowledgeable about the abbey and how the architecture evolved through the centuries. We arrived early enough before the crowds and made our way to the top with great views. Highly recommend!

Had a great day exploring Mont St Michele with our guide Michael. I rarrr erly ever do yours, as I like to explore myself. However it was so nice to have a person as knowledgeable as Michael who you could ask questions and he knew the answers. The Abbey was amazing - well worth the trip! My tour guide, Anna, was just wonderful - knowledgeable, personable, with total command of English. The best tour guide I’ve ever had!
