Iniziamo la giornata la mattina presto. Gli ospiti possono essere prelevati direttamente da Tirana, oppure potete raggiungerci a Scutari, con il punto d'incontro fissato nella vivace Passeggiata di Scutari. Iniziamo con una passeggiata rilassata lungo la colorata strada pedonale piena di caffè e negozi boutique - una grande introduzione allo spirito del nord dell'Albania.
Castello di Rozafa – Storia e viste panoramiche La nostra prima tappa importante è il Castello di Rozafa, uno dei monumenti più famosi della regione. Situato su una collina sopra la città, il castello offre splendide viste su Scutari, sul Lago di Scutari e sui fiumi circostanti. Potrai anche ascoltare la leggendaria storia di Rozafa ed esplorare le antiche mura della fortezza.
Shiroka & Lago di Scutari – Scenic Lakeside Break Proseguiamo poi per Shiroka, un tranquillo villaggio sul lago di Scutari. Qui potrete fare una rilassante passeggiata sul lago, godervi la vista tranquilla e, facoltativamente, pranzare con pesce fresco locale, una specialità della zona.
Kruja – La storica città di montagna Nel pomeriggio, guidiamo verso Kruja, la città natale dell’eroe nazionale dell’Albania, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. La città si trova sulle pendici delle montagne e offre una vista mozzafiato sulle pianure fino al mare Adriatico. Tempo libero a Kruja – Pranzo & shopping Prima di entrare nel castello, gli ospiti godono di tempo libero per il pranzo in uno dei ristoranti tradizionali e per curiosare nei negozi locali nel bazar.
Vecchio Bazar di Kruja – Artigianato e souvenir La nostra visita inizia con una passeggiata attraverso il Vecchio Bazar, noto per i suoi negozi di legno, tappeti fatti a mano, artigianato tradizionale e argenteria. È uno dei posti migliori per trovare souvenir autentici albanesi.
Castello di Kruja e Museo Skanderbeg – Il passato eroico dell’Albania Concludiamo la giornata con una visita al Castello di Kruja e al Museo Skanderbeg, dedicato alla vita e alle battaglie della figura storica più importante dell’Albania. Il museo è ricco di storia e le terrazze del castello offrono viste indimenticabili sull'Albania centrale. Dopo la visita, guidiamo di nuovo a Tirana, dove il tour si conclude con la discesa al vostro Alloggio.

We had a day a very informative day tour to north of Albania . We visited Kruja a museum and the old bazar . Then we visited shkodra a legendary castle and the city small but lovely promenade
A wonderful experience between Kruja and Shkodra 🇦🇱 I had an unforgettable day visiting Kruja and Shkodra, two cities rich in history, culture and authentic beauty. In Kruja, I was fascinated by the castle, the old bazaar and the stone streets that tell the story of the Albanian people. The atmosphere was magical, with breathtaking views and welcoming and smiling people. In Shkodër, I discovered a lively and lively environment: the lake, the Rozafa fortress and the old town offer wonderful views and a feeling of peace and tradition. It was a very special day, full of emotions and beautiful moments that I will always carry with me. I recommend everyone to visit these two extraordinary cities — Albania can surprise with its authenticity and its human warmth.
Amazing Day Tour of Kruja & Shkodra with Xhuliano Our tour of Kruja and Shkodra was unforgettable, thanks to our fantastic guide, Xhuliano. An artist at heart and a history enthusiast, he brought every site to life with his passion and knowledge. In Kruja, we explored the Skanderbeg Museum and the charming Old Bazaar, where Xhuliano introduced us to local artisans. In Shkodra, we admired the breathtaking views from Rozafa Castle and explored the Marubi Photography Museum, enriched by his artistic insights. Xhuliano’s storytelling and enthusiasm made the experience truly special. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a deeper connection to Albania’s history and culture!

The tour was fantastic and Albi was AMAZING. I feel like I took a master class in the history and culture of Albania. He was so professional and well put together; this man knew his stuff. He was an incredible driver and I felt very safe driving with him. I honestly have probably never had a better tour in my life. You can tell he cares deeply about his clients, as well as sharing the history and culture of Albania with those who are visiting. I would recommend anyone to ask for Albi for this tour because he made the trip an absolute joy. Seeing both of the castles was incredible and the museum at Kruja Castle is totally worth the trip. Rozafa Castle was a fantastic stop as well. We had a great walk around Shkoder and he helped select a great place for me to have lunch. I wish there were more stars to share for how wonderful the day was!! Hands down Albi made it the best tour I have been on in Albania, and probably ever! Highly reccomend!

Beautiful very pleasant day, our Guide was very attentive safe and impeccable driving. He made us a nice proposal for lunch , local produce and in a superb environment. Our Guide Tony speaks several languages , we had nice conversations . In short , we had a great day, I recommend Tony 100%. Feel free to make escapades with this Guide. His car was clean.

This was my third excursion with Local Friends Albania. Had previously visited Prizren in Kosovo, Berat, and Ohrid in North Macedonia. From first contact via WhatsApp to the day of the tour itself, Skerdi and Xhulijo were awesome. Highly knowledgeable not just on the surface but on deeper questioning. They know their stuff!
