DO NOT RESERVE WITH THEM!!!! I booked and reserved my excursion prior to my arrival at the Bahamas. The day before my excursion it was cancelled. I called customer service and was told it was due to weather which is understandable but then I received an email stating that it was due to not having enough people for the excursion. I spent the WHOLE DAY looking for another vendor for this excursion. To make matters more upsetting, they sent me another email that it was cancelled due to the plane being full and that I would have to rebook but not for the same day as it was SOLD OUT!!! This site/coordinator is FRAUD. They are scammers and they took my information with NO INTENT TO take me on the false excursion they are promoting. All in all, if you’re a tourist with a certain amount of time at the Bahamas, please find another vendor. I would like to save the next person the headache and anxiety that I endured because of them.

However, I'm not sure you were booked with our company, can you email exumaescapesbahamas@gmail.com with your booking information for us to investigate as this is not our practice. We've reviewed the two cancellations made due to insufficient passengers and we were able to accommodate one family on our boat tour and the other opted for a refund. If you were booked with us, we always advise guests not to book visits to The Bahamas solely for excursions as weather, passenger count and mechanics can change at anytime. We always reach out to our guests 3-5 days before the excursion if there is a chance of cancelling, sometimes last minute is unavoidable, but that has not been the case recently. Again we would like to thoroughly investigate this incident and look forward to receiving your email.
We do not recommend this tour, as it may not happen and it's not a guarantee. We booked this excursion months ago and in Bahamas, they cancelled, not only once but twice on us. It is very disappointing when you have a short time to enjoy your trip and have a schedule of activities planned. It is highly likely, they will cancel. We had great weather all week, but they told us they couldn't fill the plane. Be very aware of this, especially, if this is something you really want to do. Luckily, on our last day, we were able to get a reservation (almost the same, but on a speed boat) with Powerboat Adventures which was absolutely amazing!!!
Ugarte, thank you for this review. We do understand your frustration, and we discourage our guests from booking trips to the Bahamas solely based on any excursion. The only tour that can be guaranteed based on passenger count is one that is booked privately. We did inform you of the insufficient passengers 3-5 days before your excursion and offered a switch to our boat tour, this was declined. You requested a switch to another flight tour, where the other party cancelled. Instances like that are beyond our control. As is always the case, we inform our guests in advance and offer alternatives. We are happy that you found an excursion that you enjoyed.
Amazing experience for big and small, can’t recommend this company enough! The whole day felt like a taste of paradise! Smooth sailing 🥰 The crew on board is amazing & give so much insight knowledge of the islands along the way. After visiting the Iguanas, you get to swim with Sharks and the Pigs! It’s a day you will never forget! My kids (14 & 9)had so much fun, but secretly I know I had even more fun! It’s not everyday you step onto a boat & feel so welcome, catered to with drinks incl. Rum 😉 enjoying turquoise water and a private boat tour! Thank you to the whole team 💗

My daughter and I booked and prepaid for this tour months ago. We planned out trip to the Bahamas for this tour to happen tomorrow, Wednesday July 14. Yesterday we were notified by Expedia that the company cancelled our reservations. We tried to call, but the Fly to the Pigs customer service line busy. The weather is beautiful here, so that was not the issue. When we paid for the tour,it was $750 per person. Sad, that this business doesn't value their customers. On the bright side we are loving our stay at the Riu!
We are very sorry to hear about your experience, and do apologize for the inconvenience. The flight tour in question had been canceled one week prior to the date of the tour. Expedia was notified and an attempt made to contact the guest. Flight and boat tours have a minimum passenger requirement as outlined on our website as well as our third party vendors. We specifically advise customers to never plan their trip around any excursion as the weather, insufficient passengers, and mechanical failure can easily derail plans. We are happy to hear that you still found a way to enjoy your time here in The Bahamas. Again, we do apologize for the inconvenience.
Best day ever! We had an amazing time from beginning to end. It was only a small group of 8 people which was really nice. Our tour guide Scooter was great! He was very friendly and was like having a personal photographer. Visiting the pigs and sharks was an unforgettable experience. Lunch was also great. Overall a must do!
If you only stay on Paradise Island you are missing something. We had an amazing time! The flight to Staniel Cay is worth it then everything is a short boat ride away.. you see EVERYTHING. You go to all the different islands to see the pigs, the sharks, the iguanas and the sand bar! Oh and also an authentic Bahamian lunch! Excellent!! Highly recommended. My original date was canceled due to weather and they reached out to me to reschedule, very accommodating. Do it you won’t regret it!
This trip was worth every penny. Kudos to Lynden our guide who was very knowledgeable and provided a safe and fun journey on the boat rides. As swell as captain Pedro for a very professional, smooth and safe flight.
At first we didn't think the flight aspect was worth it but it truly was. The islands while seemingly a short distance from Nassau are actually a 2.5 hour boat ride each way. Our excursion was cancelled due to slight winds and luckily we were able to still do the flight. We are quite happy we did. It was much faster (time is valuable when you're on vacation in the Bahamas) and it was cool to fly in a smaller plane. The time spent at each location was plenty and you find yourself 'over it' by the time it's time to move on. The sand bar was cool to relax at and the iguanas were cool to see as well. Getting to boat around the small islands was a really enjoyable part as well.
Likely due to a hotel error, my daughter and I found ourselves not booked for the tour we were supposed to be booked for. Exuma Escapes representative Sheran was on site to help. Even though she had nothing to do with the mistake, Sheran worked tirelessly for over two hours to try to solve the problem. She exhausted every possible option and when we still weren’t able to get on the tour (not her fault) she found a way to solve the problem so that we were happy. Even though it wasn’t her problem and she could easily have said “there’s nothing I can do” Sheran was amazing and went BEYOND above and beyond. I highly recommend this company as long as Sheran works there.
