In questo tour visiteremo la costa di Girona, battezzata 100 anni fa come Costa Brava. Il nome è dovuto alla sua unica costa di forma rocciosa, frastagliata e tagliata, composta da piccole insenature circondate da pinete e lambite da acque cristalline. Oltre al caratteristico rilievo della sua costa, la Costa Brava è famosa anche per le sue incantevoli cittadine. Anticamente erano piccoli paesi di pescatori, pieni di case con le mura imbiancate a calce e città medievali con edifici in pietra e stradine strette; ancora oggi, conservano il loro fascino unico. Nel corso della giornata, sveleremo le città più rappresentative ed emblematiche di ineguagliabile bellezza della Costa Brava. Mentre esploriamo queste città, scopriremo anche i loro diversi paesaggi e contrasti. Le loro spiagge acclamate in tutto il mondo ti toglieranno il fiato.

Itinerario
Prenderemo l’autostrada e verso le 10:15 arriveremo a Calella de Palafrugell, un piccolo villaggio di pescatori che conserva ancora oggi l’aspetto tradizionale di un tempo. È un borgo di grande bellezza sia architettonica che paesaggistica. La cittadina, costellata di piccole baie, diventa una fusione di terra e mare che costituisce uno scenario incomparabile. Avremo tempo libero per esplorare il villaggio, goderci il paesaggio e sicuramente scattare ottime fotografie.
Verso le 11:15, inizieremo a camminare lungo il Cammino di Ronda, che ci porterà alla città di quartiere di Llafranc. Cammineremo per circa 30 minuti, adatto a tutte le età, terreno facile per tutti. Il “Cammino di Ronda” confina con tutta la Costa Brava ed era usato per controllare il contrabbando marittimo. Oggi, grazie a questo, è possibile scoprire luoghi bellissimi che altrimenti non sarebbero accessibili. Llafranc è anche una piccola, elegante e affascinante città di mare, con tutta la delizia delle città di questa costa. Avrete tempo libero per pranzare e gustare la cucina tipica dei pescatori di questa zona. Se lo si desidera, si può anche andare a fare un bagno nel Mar Mediterraneo presso la sua splendida spiaggia.
La nostra prossima visita sarà Begur, una città con eleganti dimore situate sotto un antico castello e famosa per le sue “case indiane”. I cosiddetti “indiani” erano gli abitanti della città che emigrarono in America nel XVIII secolo; fecero fortuna e al loro ritiro, tornarono e costruirono queste eleganti dimore. Passeggiando per le sue strade, scoprirete questa architettura di straordinaria bellezza che presenta una miscela unica di stili mediterranei e caraibici.
Peratallada, dichiarata Sito Storico-Artistico e Beni Culturali di Interesse Nazionale, è uno degli esempi più notevoli dell’architettura medievale del paese. Rimarrete stupiti dalla sua particolare posizione in cima ad una roccia, così come dallo spettacolare fossato scavato al suo interno, che circonda la città. All'arrivo, faremo una passeggiata attraverso le sue strette strade tortuose, scopriremo il suo castello-palazzo originale, il suo eccezionale sistema di fortificazione e le sue case in pietra le cui strade sono rimaste praticamente immutate dal passare del tempo.
L’ultima tappa sarà Pals, dichiarata Bene Culturale di Interesse Nazionale, cittadina situata nell’entroterra e in cima ad una collina. Il villaggio è costruito interamente in un sito medievale integrato. In cima, c'è una torre cilindrica del XII secolo, visibile da lontano. Ha un'eccellente terrazza che offre una vista mozzafiato sulla Costa Brava e dintorni. Passeggiando per le strade acciottolate, vi sembrerà di essere tornati indietro nel tempo. Prendetevi del tempo per apprezzare gli archi a tutto sesto, le facciate con archi a sesto acuto, i balconi in pietra, tutti perfettamente restaurati. Alle 18:00 il tour è terminato e torniamo a Barcellona, dove arriveremo intorno alle 20:00.

Excellent tour, all towns are extremely beautiful. The two medieval towns on the afternoon are awesome, looks you go back on time. The tour is perfectly organized, punctual, informative and with an excellent guide. Recommended 100%. Best day of my vacations.

Unfortunately this tour was cancelled day before trip. Unable to secure another tour to the area as I was only visiting Barcelona for a few days. Very disappointed.
Dear Nieves, We are very sorry that you were unable to participate in our activity due to its cancellation the day before. We received an emergency warning related to a possible rise in the river that passes through some of the towns we visit, due to heavy rainfall in the area. The risk of flooding was very high. As this was considered a case of force majeure, the tour was cancelled to guarantee the safety of all participants. An immediate refund was issued. We regret that situations like these may be difficult for some participants to understand and that we are penalized for acting preventively. Fortunately, these situations are completely exceptional.
This tour had everything to explore and experience Costa Brava - scenic bus tour, three different old world fishing/resort towns, a hike along the coast between the towns. A boat ride along the rugged coast with underwater viewing, and lastly stopping at a medieval town. Lots of free time to explore each area and choice of lunch places on the seaside. The guides were friendly, fun and personable and knowledgeable about the history and areas. They quickly answered my questions via WhatsApp before the tour. It was a fantastic outing thoroughly enjoyed the day. I would highly recommend this tour company to get an overall view of Costa Brava.
It was the most breathtaking tour. Our tour guide was sweet, kind & very knowledgeable. The beach was fabulous, the views spectacular, and the boat ride was amazing. We had time for a delicious lunch & coffee. II was a perfect day!!
This was an outstanding trip that offered a great variety of experiences of Costa Brava all in one day. We highly recomend it. Our guide Monica was exceptional with her commentary on the area. She had extensive knowledge while at the same time didn't overload us with too much detail. Great value for money.
The 11h tour of the Costa Brava seemed like a great idea to know the most relevant and beautiful of the area in just one day. It is an excursion to go with energy and eager to know the landscapes of the Costa Brava. There is some free time to eat and observe the views in some parts of the tour but it is rather a tour to move while you are visiting the towns that it includes, all beautiful and with a lot of history. On hot days the air-conditioned bus is very grateful. Indispensable to wear sun cream! 100% recommended!
This was an Amazing experience!!! Loved everything about it! All 3 Stops were breathtaking. Our tour guide LUIS was GREAT - he was very knowledgeable, friendly, patient, respectful and charismatic - I can’t say enough. Thanks Luis 😊 Muchísimas Gracias!!!! And the best part was that when we arrived at our last stop to have lunch - Luis made sure that our table at the restaurant was ready for us and this was ocean side view. The staff at the restaurant was courteous, friendly and fast. Luis made sure that our meals came out before anyone else’s - amazing experience. The food was DELICIOUS and FRESH!!! Once again - Thank you Luis! You’re the BEST!!!!! 😊
This is an excellent full day tour of the Costa Brava plus a stop at a Medieval village dating from the 12th century. The tour is both informative and fully packed. A tour of the Greek and Roman ruins of Empurres was extremely informative and would be of interest to any student of history. A particular shout out of Jorge, our guide, who not only provided excellent commentary but spent time one on one with each member of our tour group. Again, and excellent introduction to the beautiful Costa Brava!
