Itinerario

We were collected on time by Kit and headed through the suburbs and countryside to Ayutthaya. What a majestic place, all the different sights to take in. Kit explained everything at great length and with such clarity, a very knowledgeable person. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him. He also took several photographs of us which have been gratefully received. We are both vegetarian and Kit took us for a lovely Thai lunch where our vegetarianism was catered for. Would definitely recommend this tour.
We booked direct for the tour and requested a mini van as my husband and son are very tall and was definitely worth it for a small additional fee for the space and comfort through the day. Benjamat was our guide and was very knowledgeable and friendly and made the day very enjoyable. We stopped and an excellent buffet lunch at a hotel included in price. Overall excellent- if I was to change one thing it would be going late afternoon to experience the sunset and ruins lit up at night.
It’s a must see when in Bangkok, afternoon is very hot , private tour with a guide is great , it is followed by a great Thai meal
I loved the places this tour took me to - they were exactly what I wanted to see. Unfortunately, the guide may have been lacking professionalism, or possibly it was a language issue so her intentions were not communicated properly? She said she wanted to “show me” a local open market, but she apparently wanted to do her own shopping there, and I had to wait for her. The lunch was at a nice hotel where she saw fellow guides, and after our meal, I again had to wait for her while she chatted with them. I guess she was tired, because she asked me a couple times at the historical site if I “still wanted to see things.” I told her sit sit and wait for me. I don’t know if we were running behind schedule, but I had traveled all that way and did not want to be rushed. (As it was, I did not have a chance to go inside one of the buildings.) **I want to give a shoutout to Kit, our driver, who was very watchful and considerate of me, calling for her when he saw me waiting at the open market. He was a true professional and gentleman, and for him, I gave this rating another star.
Amazing trip, so full of history and culture. We got to see breathtaking temples and learn the history. Our guide was lovely and shared lots of fascinating information with us. And our driver was friendly & caring too. This is a wonderful tour to do.
Great tour guide with many temples. Driver did an excellent job. Wat was extremely knowledge. The drive was quite some distance from Bangkok.
We had a wonderful time touring the Ayutthaya temple area with our private guide, Aey. This was actually our 3rd visit to Bangkok and tour with Aey. She's almost like family now! Aey met us at the airport with a gift of local sweets. Aey then provided a full day of touring that was tailored to our needs and desires. We were able to not just view the sights, but also to take part in local buddhist traditions, including the draping of the Buddhas with holy cloth and placing of offerings. Aey also took photos along the way so that we could enjoy the day without worrying about capturing memories. What a wonderful day! Tip for fellow travelers: Please NEVER ride elephants or go to elephant shows. The elephants are tortured as babies and then endure a life of torture to support these industries. I mention this as this tour provider offered these services. I'm hopeful that enough negative feedback on this point will cause this practice to cease. If you want to see elephants, consider a day at Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, or similar park where the elephants are never in chains, ropes, or the like and permitted to live in social clusters and roam relatively free. For more info, see the movie "Love and Bananas" or research Lek Chailert online...remarkable woman.
Our tour guide Miss Supatsara Wonghong was very accommodating, informative, patient and helpful throughout the trip, she had also taken a lot of group photos for us. We all had a great time visiting 6 temples in a day!
The trip was great and the guide and driver were exceptional; however the heat and duration were a bit too long for us because of our age (I’m over 80 and my wife is in her 70s)
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Puk, went above and beyond catering to different interests in the group with great knowledge of history. She was a pleasure to be around and incredibly professional, as was the driver. The visits themselves were fascinating and beautiful, I enjoyed them more for understanding the context. Well-paced, comfortable, accommodating, with a delicious lunch to top it off. Thank you!
