Itinerario
Iniziamo la nostra giornata ad Al-Muizz Cairo, dove verremo a prendervi dal vostro hotel alle 7:00 per imbarcarci in un meraviglioso viaggio a Fayoum, una destinazione che abbraccia una natura mozzafiato e la storia antica.
La prima tappa del nostro viaggio sarà Wadi El Rayan, situata nel Deserto Occidentale dell’Egitto, a circa 100 km dal Cairo. Wadi El Rayan è una depressione naturale a 42 metri sotto il livello del mare e contiene due laghi collegati da cascate, gli unici in Egitto. Questo luogo è stato classificato come area protetta dal 1989, per proteggere le risorse biologiche, geografiche e culturali della zona. Si può godere di guardare i diversi paesaggi e fauna rara, oltre ai monumenti risalenti alle antiche civiltà.
Una delle attività più emozionanti a Wadi El Rayan è il sandboarding. Vi doteremo di skateboard per divertirvi in slitta sulle meravigliose dune di sabbia. Questa esperienza ti dà un senso di eccitazione e divertimento, poiché puoi scivolare giù dalle altezze sabbiose e volare nell'aria, rendendola un'esperienza indimenticabile.
Successivamente, ci dirigeremo a Wadi Al-Hitan, la Valle delle Balene. Saliremo su un 4x4 (Jeep) per raggiungere questo incredibile sito, che contiene inestimabili resti fossili delle più antiche specie di balene conosciute, che mostrano l'evoluzione di queste creature marine. Wadi Al-Hitan è considerato uno dei siti più importanti al mondo per lo studio delle fasi dell'evoluzione della vita marina, dove è possibile vedere fossili risalenti a periodi storici precedenti, dando uno sguardo unico sull'ambiente antico. Dopo una giornata ricca di avventure e ricordi, torneremo in hotel al Cairo, dove conserverete meravigliosi ricordi di questa esperienza unica.

“We had a great time on this tour! The felucca ride was incredibly relaxing with stunning views of the water and surrounding nature. The sandboarding on the desert dunes was a highlight—so much fun. Lunch was delicious, and it was fascinating to see how local pottery is made. Everything felt well-organized, and our guide was really friendly. Highly recommend!”

If you want to leave the city and explore more nature, this tour is for you! Omar did an amazing job from start to finish with his hospitality and information he provided about Egypt. We went through the desert to see the whale fossils, swam at Magic lake (fresh salt water) tried to sand board LOL, and visited the waterfalls. It was a different side of Egypt that is refreshing to see. Thank you!!

Fayoum Oasis is an amazing area …. Like a secret diamond… beautiful places but it’s a little bit far from Cairo (2 hours) … you should visit for relaxing from the crowded Cairo… Wear your swimsuit! You would like to swim definitely… The lunch was perfect and the hole experience… If a change something , that it was start earlier in morning (maybe 7 o clock) so don’t have too high temperature that had after 1-2 o clock

Fayoum was so beautiful! Our jeep traveled many kilometers in the desert, off road. We saw waterfalls, whale bones, lakes and the kids went sandboarding! It was a day to remember

A day that had everything! Tha highlights for me were: riding a 4x4 in the desert (our driver Mustafa knows the area like the palm of his hand), the visit to the… valley of whales (an UNESCO site), magical moments in the magic lake (you can swim there!) and sand boarding! Omar, who drove us from Giza to Fayoum, was with us all the time, was very helpful, and ensured our day is unforgettable!
