Questo è l'edificio più iconico del palazzo, spesso indicato come il "Padiglione Reale". Costruito in stile thailandese, si erge splendidamente nel mezzo di un laghetto sereno. I viaggiatori ammireranno la grande struttura, che un tempo serviva come rifugio reale. I visitatori possono scattare foto, passeggiare per la zona e godersi il paesaggio tranquillo che esalta l'atmosfera dei reali.
L'imponente chedi (stupa) di Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon è un'altra caratteristica distintiva del tempio. Con i suoi 62 metri di altezza, è una delle strutture più alte delle rovine di Ayutthaya. Il chedi è rivestito in tessuto dorato e presenta una base circolare che conduce ad una grande guglia conica. We had Bamboo as our tour guide and he was amazing he explained everything in detail and answered any questions we had. He also reminded us to drink our water and informed us the historical sites had free umbrellas we could use. We will definitely be booking with him again :)

Good experience with tour guide Bamboo, he was very informative about the history of Ayutthaya. Weather was nice and clear, sun was hot. But there was maybe coffeeshop to get cold drinks.
