Ciao ciao! Sono la vostra Guida locale di Città del Capo, e non vedo l'ora di portarvi in questo tour perché ho molte storie sul Capo di buona speranza che mi piacerebbe condividere con voi. Il prelievo sarà dal tuo hotel prima di dirigerci a Bo-Kaap, dove le case dai colori vivaci raccontano storie del ricco passato culturale di Città del Capo. Da lì, ci dirigeremo lungo una delle rotte costiere più panoramiche del mondo. Aspettatevi panorami mozzafiato mentre ci dirigiamo lentamente verso Capo di buona speranza. Questa zona fa parte della famiglia di piante più ricca del mondo e vi verranno offerte escursioni facoltative. Esploreremo anche alcune affascinanti città di mare. A Hout Bay, avrai la possibilità di fare una breve gita in barca a Duiker Island per vedere le foche di pelliccia del Capo. Poi a Simon’s Town, incontreremo i famosi Pinguini Africani a Boulders Beach. Sulla via del ritorno a Città del Capo, a seconda del flusso di traffico stradale, passeremo per Muizenberg Beach, nota per le sue capanne colorate sulla spiaggia e l'atmosfera da surf prima di concludere la giornata in hotel.

Itinerario
Poco dopo l'inizio del tour, prima di lasciare la città per la costa. Avremo la possibilità di fare una breve sosta nella storica Bo-Kaap per vedere le case dai colori vivaci e scoprire la sua lunga storia. La tua guida ti accompagnerà in giro mentre scatti foto e scopri la storia di questo quartiere.
Ai piedi della Lion's Head Mountain si trova un sobborgo benestante chiamato Bantry Bay. Molto noto per il suo status di assenza di vento, Bantry Bay ha oltre 250 giorni di assenza di vento all'anno, che è un grande affare a Città del Capo considerando il clima ventoso della città madre.
Nascosto in alto sul fianco della montagna c'è un altro quartiere opulento chiamato Clifton. Oltre ai costosi immobili, Clifton è anche nota per avere alcune delle migliori spiagge vicino a Città del Capo. Le quattro spiagge di Clifton che sono naturalmente divise in 4 da massi di granito.
Ammira le splendide colline Beverly di Città del Capo chiamate Camps Bay. Fermati brevemente per scattare foto e goderti la vista dei Dodici Apostoli.
A 15 minuti dalla baia di Camps si trova la baia di Hout. Una città circondata dalle montagne e dal freddo Atlantico. Tutte le strade che portano il traffico qui passano per passi di montagna. Non rimpiangere di aver lasciato i passaporti quando appare il cartello "Benvenuti nella repubblica di Hout Bay"!
Il nostro viaggio durerà un'ora al porto di Hout Bay, dove potrai salire su una barca e intraprendere un viaggio panoramico di 40 minuti verso un'isola abitata da oltre 5mila foche del capo. Vedrai le foche dalla barca e se potresti non essere entusiasta di fare la gita in barca, potresti trascorrere un po' di tempo esplorando il mercato dell'artigianato o anche fare una passeggiata di 10 minuti fino alla spiaggia di Hout bay. Tieni presente che questo extra opzionale potrebbe aggiungere un'altra ora al tour.
Lasciando la baia di Hout, ci dirigeremo verso il famoso Chapman's Peak Drive. Una strada laterale di montagna conosciuta localmente come Chapies. Un capolavoro di ingegneria! Il Chapman's Peak Drive si snoda per 9 km lungo le gigantesche montagne di Chapman's Peak che sembrano cadere nell'oceano come una valanga. Avrai anche l'opportunità di fermarti per le foto e goderti la vista sull'Oceano Atlantico, le scogliere e le spiagge di sabbia bianca.
All'estremità meridionale del picco di Chapman si trova un villaggio agricolo di Noordhoek. Gli edifici imbiancati e con il tetto di paglia funzionano come negozi che commerciano come succhi di frutta crudi, caffetterie, panifici, ristoranti, negozi di artigianato fatto a mano e negozi di abbigliamento. Vi sarà offerta una breve sosta per concedervi alcuni di questi.
A soli 200 metri prima della riserva naturale di Cape Point c'è un allevamento di struzzi dove gli ospiti avranno l'opportunità di fermarsi lungo la strada e scattare foto dell'uccello più grande dell'Africa.
La riserva naturale di Cape Point ospita l'angolo più sud-occidentale dell'Africa (Capo di buona speranza). La ricca fauna e flora rende questo luogo un hotspot di biodiversità. Sarai in grado di goderti i panorami mentre sei nel comfort del veicolo o anche a piedi.
Famoso l'angolo dell'Africa. Dove l'Atlantico freddo e gli oceani indiani condividono terreni comuni. Il Capo di Buona Speranza è però solo il punto più Sud Ovest dell’Africa. Sentieri escursionistici fino alla cima del Capo rende grande attività e visite turistiche. Il cartello del Capo di Buona Speranza è anche un'altra grande attrazione. Possibili diversi sentieri escursionistici vi saranno offerti da qui dalla vostra guida.
Cammina o prendi una funicolare (a proprie spese) fino al terzo faro più antico del Sudafrica per una vista a 360 gradi del parco nazionale. Il vecchio faro è stato varato nel 1860 solo per essere smantellato 40 anni e decine di naufragi troppo tardi dopo che gli studi hanno dimostrato che la sua altitudine rappresentava un grave pericolo per i marinai intorno al capo in quanto non potevano essere in grado di vederlo in condizioni di tempo nuvoloso. Da allora è stato costruito un nuovo faro a un'altitudine molto più bassa.
Un'altra cittadina tranquilla e ricca sulla costa della False Bay. La città di Simon, costruita in stile vittoriano, ospita alcuni dei ristoranti di pesce più freschi e dove potresti fermarti per un'ora e pranzare (la guida può scegliere di pranzare a Cape Point a seconda di come va il tour)
Boulders Beach Penguin Colony ospita migliaia di nuotatori in smoking in via di estinzione, il pinguino africano! Qui camminerai sulla spiaggia e scatterai foto ravvicinate di uno dei nostri uccelli senza volo. La tua guida ti fornirà anche informazioni sugli affari correnti del pinguino.
La spiaggia di Muizenberg è anche conosciuta come "l'angolo dei surfisti". Le capanne cangianti colorate sulla spiaggia sono un ottimo servizio fotografico. A condizione che abbiamo tempo e il flusso di traffico è ragionevole, sarete in grado di avere la vostra ultima fermata prima che i motori sterzano a nord per Città del Capo per terminare una grande giornata di visite turistiche.

The tour was great, Candy was really knowledgeable and I learnt loads of new things about both RSA and the places that we visited on the tour. Would definitely recommend Candy for her knowledge and sharing. We walked from Cape of Good Hope to Cape point and the views were amazing. Both the penguins and the seals were cute - would recommend the optional boat trip! Thanks Litha for great and safe driving!

We had a wonderful day with the guide Candy and the driver Litha. They took good care of us and showed us many beautiful places. The two main attractions were Cape of good hope and Boulder Beach. The trip was exciting thanks to frequent short stops at nice places. In addition, we also learned a lot of intering facts and history about Cape Town and South Africa in general. This tour is highly recommended.

If you're sitting on this, book it! I'm not usually a tour person, but I'm so glad I did this. Not only was our guide, Peter, great, but the trip to the Cape was also a highlight of my travels. Even with periods of rain/fog, it was worth it (good moody vibes). There were three solo travelers on the tour, and I would recommend it for other solo female travelers. I do not think you could safely do everything on this tour as a single woman without the group element. If you plan to do the Cape lighthouse hike, wear shoes with good tread. Bring a rain jacket and snacks. Enjoy!

Very nice and complete, but you have barely a few minutes to get off at each place. If they included fewer destinations but with more time, it would be much more worth it. Because as soon as you get off, you take a couple of photos and have to get back on.
