Uplistsikhe, nella traduzione Fortezza del Signore, è una fortezza cittadina rupestre situata su un massiccio roccioso sulla riva sinistra del fiume Mtkvari. Risalente al I-II millennio a.C. Uplistsikhe fu un importante centro religioso, politico e culturale nei periodi ellenistico e tardoantico. Museo di Joseph Stalin a Gori – Stalin, originariamente georgiano, fu il segretario generale del Partito Comunista durante la seconda guerra mondiale e uno dei dittatori più influenti dei tempi moderni. Il museo presenta la casa di Stalin, una capanna dove è nato. Cronache della Georgia. Pochi ospiti della città la visitano, anche se il carico semantico e le dimensioni su larga scala meritano la vostra attenzione e il vostro tempo. Il grandioso insieme di sculture monumentali “Storia della Georgia” è stato creato dalle mani del genio di Tbilisi Zurab Tsereteli.

Uplistsikhe, in traduzione Fortezza del Signore, è una fortezza cittadina rupestre situata su un massiccio roccioso sulla riva sinistra del fiume Mtkvari. Risale al I-II millennio a.C. Uplistsikhe era un importante centro religioso, politico e culturale nei periodi ellenistico e tardoantico. I visitatori possono ancora passeggiare tra le antiche strade, il teatro scolpito nella roccia, le sale reali, la farmacia, i templi pagani e le chiese cristiane, mentre i resti di granai e grandi vasi di vino in argilla ci danno qualche indizio sulla vita quotidiana degli abitanti.
Il museo di Joseph Stalin a Gori - Stalin originariamente georgiano, fu il segretario generale del Partito comunista durante la seconda guerra mondiale e uno dei dittatori più influenti dei tempi moderni. Il museo ospita la casa di Stalin - una capanna dove è nato; la sua armatura rivestiva una carrozza ferroviaria e una statua che si trovava controversa nella piazza principale di Gori fino al 2010. Inoltre, molti oggetti di proprietà di Stalin, tra cui alcuni dei suoi mobili per ufficio, i suoi oggetti personali e regali fattigli nel corso degli anni. Ci sono anche molte illustrazioni a titolo di documentazione, fotografie, dipinti e articoli di giornale.

È uno scultore e artista di fama mondiale che ha creato numerosi monumenti in diversi paesi, ma questo monumento è considerato una delle sue opere migliori. Ci sono voluti 20 anni per creare il memoriale, ma sfortunatamente non è stato ancora completato. Nella scultura mancano ancora diversi elementi e gli strumenti del maestro attendono il tanto atteso finale.

Poorly prepared. No description of what to expect. Way too much Russian was spoken in relation to the participants. Way too much admission at the Lenin Museum, which had to be paid additionally. But a really great driver!
An excellent tour, well led, informative and a complete pleasure from start to finish. Uplistsikhe Caves were very interesting and the luch was tasty. Gori was fascinating for anyone interested in the history of the vile Stalin - I'm not sure Stalin fridge magnets should be a thing. Finally, the Georgia Chronicles offered impressive views over the reservoir/lake, as as being a well presented piece of outdoor art.

We had an awesome day out in the snowy conditions with George and Nino. They looked after us very well and were very knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend them and will be using them again for other trips.

Amazing experience visiting Gori - birthplace of Stalin and knowing his history. Chronicles of Georgia and Uplisitike cave was icing on the cake with it’s spectacular view. Splendid guide with good knowledge - Thanks to Nino !

It was q great experience. The length and planning of the visit is well structured taking care of all the factors. I loved our tour guide Ms. NINO, this was my 3rd tour with her and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. There were 2 stops on this trip that required us to pay additional for entry tickets, which being informed beforehand we were prepared for the same. I would definitely love to tour with you guys again.
