Cattedrale della Santissima Trinità, una delle più grandi cattedrali ortodosse al mondo
Continuate verso la chiesa di Metekhi e il monumento a Vakhtang Gorgasali, il leggendario fondatore di Tbilisi.
Prenderemo la funivia per la fortezza di Narikala per godere di una vista panoramica mozzafiato della città.
Dopo il tour della fortezza di Narikala proseguiremo nella parte più bella della vecchia Tbilisi, conosciuta come bagni di zolfo di Tbilisi e cascata nel centro della città vecchia.
Piccolo bellissimo posto storico nel mezzo della vecchia Tbilisi, il posto più noto per cerimonie nuziali.
Dopo pranzo, partenza per Mtskheta, una delle città più antiche e centro culturale e religioso della Georgia. Mtskheta era la capitale del regno georgiano orientale di Iberia dal terzo secolo aC. Visita la chiesa di Jvari, un vero capolavoro architettonico del primo periodo medievale che domina la confluenza dei fiumi Aragvi e Mtkvari dalla cima della collina e Svetitskhoveli, la cattedrale principale di Mtskheta e un luogo sacro dove viene tenuta la veste di Cristo
Il monastero di Jvari è un monastero ortodosso georgiano del sesto secolo vicino a Mtskheta, nella Georgia orientale. Insieme ad altre strutture storiche di Mtskheta, è elencato come sito del patrimonio mondiale dall'UNESCO

*One Day Tour to Tbilisi and Mtskheta by Join Georgia. *I really enjoyed this tour. George was my tour guide and Maria was the driver. They were friendly, responsible, well mannered, and caring. I highly recommend this tour. Tour was very well organized. From this tour, I saw: (1) Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi; (2) Metekhi Cathedral; (3) Monument of Vakhtang Gorgasali (the legendary founder of Tbilisi); (4) Bridge of Peace; (5) Cable car to Narikala Fortress; (6) Mother Georgia; (7) Sulphur baths area (where I drank 1 bottle of mineral water); (8) Leghvtakhevi Waterfall (Dzveli Tbilisi Sulphur Waterfall); (9) Sioni Cathedral Church; (10) Svetitskhoveli Cathedral; (11) Jvari Monastery;
I really enjoyed this tour. My tour guide was very knowledgeable. Great tour of the main sights of Tbilisi and Mtskheta.
Our guide (Mary) was very nice and she had excellent presentation skills. On the other hand, I believe the tour price was bit higher than should be.
<p>The tour was excellent - lots of sites to see, lots of walking which I like as opposed to bus tours where you spend most of the time on the bus. Lela the tour guide took me to most of the important sites I wanted to see and was flexible enough to cater to few of my custom requests. Lots of information on the history of Georgia and its jewels Mtskheta and Tbilisi. Again, the timing was not the best February, I suppose it is best to tour the region in late spring or early fall. However despite the chilly and windy day the tour was very good!</p>
<p>I enjoyed the tour and the guide was excellent as well. You get a chance to see the highlights of these two cities. I enjoyed walking around and absorbing the sights and feel of the city. I just missed out on the cable car ride as it just closed on the day I arrived.</p>
<p>My guy was well verse in the history of Tbilisi and Georgia, honest and very helpful. Would highly recommend hee work, the driver and the company.</p>

<p>Really marvelous tour. Our guide Ms.Lela was one of the best we ever had. We recommend this tour to tourists who wish to visit Georgia. Involves little bit of walking and recommended to have a better pair of sports shoes.</p>
