Itinerario
Giunti a Mont-Saint-Michel, dopo aver attraversato il centro del villaggio, inizieremo la nostra salita per raggiungere l'abbazia per ammirare la magnifica vista sulla baia e per visitare questa struttura costruita a partire dal X secolo
Dopo aver visitato il monte, impiegheremo circa 1 ora e 30 minuti per raggiungere Pointe du Hoc, dove vi racconterò la storia dello sbarco in Normandia e le imprese del 2° Battaglione Ranger americano
Proseguiremo poi verso Omaha Beach, il luogo in cui sbarcarono le truppe della 1a e 29a Divisione di fanteria americana. C'è un piccolo ristorante a Saint Laurent sur Mer dove è possibile pranzare
Dopo pranzo, ci vorranno solo 10 minuti per raggiungere l'imponente cimitero americano di Colleville-sur-Mer. Lì, ci prenderemo il tempo per rendere omaggio agli eroi che vennero a liberare la Francia e l'Europa occidentale nel 1944.
La nostra ultima tappa sarà il villaggio di Arromanches-les-Bains, dove ci fermeremo per raccontarvi la storia dei porti artificiali costruiti dagli Alleati nella primavera del 1944. Potremo vedere i resti di i cassoni Phoenix ancora presenti in mare. Quindi, torneremo alla tua residenza in Normandia

We had a fabulous day with Marcus & Quentin at Mont Saint Michel. The three of us loved our visit with you and are very grateful for the time and effort you put into the preparation and planning of our day visiting the island. Your punctuality, convenience of a personal pick up, the history video and your knowledge and passion of Saint Michel were very much appreciated. We learnt so much history, soaked up the beauty and enjoyed exploring the abbey. We also enjoyed walking around and learning about Honfleur on our return. Thank you
