Dwejra, con le sue suggestive formazioni costiere e onde che si stagliano sulle rocce, è un'attrazione magica. Qui potrai nuotare nelle spettacolari acque profonde della baia, nelle calme acque del mare interno o nelle acque schiumose intorno al Blue Hole, uno dei principali siti per immersioni di Gozo. Dwejra è anche sede della Rocca del Generale o, conosciuta localmente come, "il-Ġebla tal-Ġeneral". È così chiamato in ricordo del Generale italiano, che secoli fa è perito cadendo mentre supervisionava l'estrazione dalla cava nella zona. La storia ci dice che una pianta speciale che si ritiene abbia proprietà curative e medicinali cresceva sulla Rocca del Generale e, per questo motivo, la roccia era fortemente sorvegliata durante l'epoca dei Cavalieri di Malta. Chiunque veniva scoperto a rubare il raccolto veniva condannato a morte o a una vita a remare nelle navi dei Cavalieri. Il raccolto è stato prelevato e portato sulla terraferma utilizzando un sistema primitivo di cesti e pulegge.
Sulla costa settentrionale di Gozo, appena dopo la baia di Qbajjar a ovest di Marsalforn, la costa è caratterizzata da una scacchiera di saline scavate nel mare. Queste saline di 350 anni, che si estendono per circa 3 km lungo la costa, sono molto più che solo panoramiche. Fanno parte della secolare tradizione Gozita della produzione di sale marino che è stata tramandata in alcune famiglie per molte generazioni. Durante i mesi estivi, è possibile ancora vedere la gente del posto rompere i cristalli di sale. Una volta raccolto, il sale viene immagazzinato e lavorato nelle grotte che sono state scavate nella roccia costiera.
Questa è la spiaggia migliore di Gozo e probabilmente di Malta. Un ampio tratto di sabbia rossa, è spesso definito localmente "Ramla il-Ħamra", la spiaggia di sabbia rossa! Ramla è un luogo meraviglioso per nuotare, fare snorkeling e rilassarsi al sole. L'area intorno alla spiaggia è meravigliosamente selvaggia, anche se ci sono un paio di caffetterie e una bancarella che si trovano a pochi passi dalla spiaggia. Le dune di sabbia sono protette e la valle che conduce alla baia è verde e fertile. Le pareti terrazzate costruite dagli agricoltori conferiscono alla valle un aspetto a patchwork se osservata dagli altopiani circostanti. Qui ci sono anche mito e storia. I resti romani si trovano sotto la sabbia e la baia di Ramla è raggiunta da ix-Xagħra, su una delle colline che si affacciano sulla valle o dal villaggio di Nadur.
La valle di Ghasri o Wied il-Ghasri, è uno stretto torrente mozzafiato che sembra proprio essere uscito da una cartolina. La stretta baia della valle di Ghasri è lunga circa 300 m, con un'entrata tortuosa e scogliere ripide e imponenti su entrambi i lati e circa 100 gradini verso il basso.
Il mare interno, a volte chiamato Qawra in Maltese e anche noto come Dwejra, è una laguna di acqua marina sull'isola di Gozo collegata al Mar Mediterraneo attraverso un'apertura formata da un stretto arco naturale. Probabilmente si è formata dove una faglia geologica nel calcare aveva creato una grotta marina e il tetto è poi crollato.
Ix-Xlendi Bay è un luogo popolare per nuotare, fare snorkeling e immersioni. C'è una piccola spiaggia sabbiosa che conduce in acque poco profonde, perfette per i più grandi, mentre per i più avventurosi è piacevole nuotare e fare snorkeling in acque più profonde al largo delle rocce che costeggiano la spiaggia. Grazie alle sue formazioni di barriera corallina, IX-Xlendi è un luogo ideale per le immersioni, anche per i principianti. È anche di un tipico villaggio di pescatori di Gozita, ben servito con ottimi ristoranti, bar e hotel.

Thank you to Lourens, a top tour guide who is very fair, kind, and, most importantly, great to be around. The sights were magical, and the quad biking made for a perfect excursion.
Great experience and a good way to see the island in one day! A couple of set backs including: 1. not sure the areas we were passing through- it would have been helpful if our guide told us the area. 2. Lunch was okay - during the booking, I specified that the only meat I don't eat is beef. On the day the main course was a beef dish and an alternative dish was not prepared. I was given a potatoe pattie and more roast potatoes on the side which wasnt great. 3. I would have liked to learn more about the history of the place rather than visiting tourist shops.
Great day and great way to see the island. The views were great and our guides were amazing. Felt very safe even with having to navigate busy streets and driving in the opposite side of the road. Lunch stop was okay but loved the swim stop wish we had a bit more time here. I would suggest putting in specific details to have a swim suit and towel in want to bring/what is included since a lot of people didn't realize we needed them. I would recommend this tour definitely.
Brilliant from being picked up from our hotel right back to drop off. A lot of travelling involved but it was so well organised. The quad biking was amazing, for someone who hasn’t done it before instructions were clear and I was checked in on to make sure I felt comfortable throughout. We had Mark and Ronnie guiding us. They were friendly, fun and knowledgeable. The quad biking was of course fun, but we had little stop offs which made it even better - for lunch, a little shop to sample local produce, a drink and swim stop, and even the ferry on the way back took us to see the Blue Lagoon in Comino. This experience was probably the highlight of our Malta trip.
Andrew and Ronnie did a great job, this experience solidified Malta as one of my favorite travel experiences. They took us through fantastic routes, and included the must-see sites. I would recommend this to my own family and friends!

Had great fun running around the island on an ATV, taking in the incredible sites and some of the most beautiful beaches you've ever seen. My only complaint, may be a cultural one. Smoking is not as popular any longer in America and having a guide who was constantly smoking, especially riding right in front of us, was something we would not have chosen had we known before booking the tour.
Well worth it! One of the best tours. Don’t expect a history lesson but sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery and fun. The guides Mark and Ronnie keep you safe and are lovely to spend a day with.
Really great way to see Gozo. The quad bikes are easy to master and fun to drive and Mark and Cedric were excellent. Pick up from the hotel worked well though the return journey was a bit chaotic. The lunch was ok but not a highlight. Overall a really great day out and one of the best parts of our trip to Malta.
Some good and some bad. - It's a lot of driving on regular roads, so the need for a quad-bike is not really there. Would have hoped for a bit off track driving. - It's a lot of driving and very little information about what we see on the way. - The areas are beautiful - Optional boat trip were great! - Great lunch stop and efficient serving! - "Mandatory" turist trap shop on the way - Our guide let a 6 year old do some driving on a parking lot. That was very nice of him and probably very exciting for the kid +++ - The guides were very nice and friendly but told little about what we saw and the history around it (not that we would expect a lot of story telling). - Boat ride back home were chaotic and a logistical mess where we were moved around on the dock trying to find the boat and had to wait quite a while. This tour is great for those that wants to tic of a few places on Gozo, likes to ride a quad-bike and don't want to know much about what you see and prefer driving on regular roads. We had a good time, but had hoped for more.
