A Taormina, camminerai per la città godendoti la bellezza del centro storico dove si trovano le principali attrazioni della città (Teatro Greco, Cattedrale, Piazza Belvedere, Piazza Duomo) e la bellissima spiaggia di Isola Bella che ha reso Taormina così famosa in tutto il mondo . Ti porteremo anche ai migliori punti panoramici per goderti il panorama e scattare foto memorabili. Dopodiché, visiteremo il caratteristico borgo medievale di Castelmola con la sua Cattedrale e la piazza principale con la sua meravigliosa vista sull'Etna. Una tappa quasi obbligata è la Turrisi Coffee Shop, dove è possibile degustare uno speciale vino di mandorle.

Itinerario
Una volta a Taormina, avrai del tempo libero per il pranzo. Successivamente, camminerai per il centro città, le belle strade strette, i caratteristici negozietti e visiterai le principali attrazioni della città, come il Teatro Greco (biglietto d'ingresso non incluso), la Cattedrale, la piazza del Belvedere, ecc.
La nostra prossima fermata, a 15 minuti da Taormina, è Castelmola, un meraviglioso e caratteristico borgo medievale situato in cima a una montagna. Qui vedrete le rovine del castello, la piazza principale con la Cattedrale e la sua meravigliosa vista sull'Etna. Una tappa quasi obbligata è la Turrisi Coffee Shop, dove è possibile degustare uno speciale vino di mandorle.

Fantastic day with Giuseppe. Here was extremely was so knowledgeable & knew exact amount of time to spend in each location We were amazed at the scenery & history with each location that Giuseppe was able to elaborate on.
The scenery, Castellon, Taormina, Isola Bella are stunning. Had a great day exploring the villages, the "special bar" and seeing Mnt Etna.
The operator went to the wrong port for our cruise ship. I had emailed them in advance the correct location. After calling Viator for assistance the driver and interpreter arrived about an hour after the promised time. After a short time we discovered this was transport only to our destination. The Viator web site advertised it is a “Tour” but I would not call simple transport a tour. The driver and interpreter were good at what they did but from the website I expected more.
Hello, We asked you several times to specify the city where the ship would dock, but your answer was "I don't know", you only told us the pier number of the ship without specifying the city, and that pier number on Google Maps was in Syracuse, so I sent the car to the port of Syracuse, but the ship arrived in Catania! It's not our fault if you go on a cruise without even knowing the places where the ship will stop, and honestly I don't think it's normal...!! So don't blame us for this inconvenience! Regarding the service, the driver usually take the clients around giving information about places, but you had very short time and the driver could not provide the usual service we do.
Good smooth driving by Giovanni. Very responsive. Only very minor downside was the tour description said there would be water, but we didn't get any.
Such a great use of a day off our cruise ship. Our driver was number accommodating, organized, and on time. Thank you!

One thing you should know, is this is not a guided tour. However, it was still AMAZING! Guissipe {I hope I'm spelling that correctly} was fantastic and I really felt I was able to fully enjoy myself without feeling rushed at all. He took me to many key points, I enjoyed this very much!
Richard was our driver and he was caring, concerned about us, and directed us to places to see. He made the experience special.
It was not a tour at all but an expensive taxi service. We were dropped off at Castemola pointed in two directions; to the right is Castemola and to the left Taormina. Taormina was down below and we spent most of our time wandering around Castemola. No tour guide, no stories about Castemola nor Taormina. We finally were dropped off in Taormina and again spent time walking On my way our own, but no tour.
We apologize for what happened, you are right! Unfortunately the driver who had to accompany you on the tour that morning was sick and we had to replace him with one who had started working with us a few days before and only deals with transfers, so he was unaware to carry out the tour properly. The alternative would have been to cancel the tour that morning and refund you the amount, but we thought that between the two alternatives, letting you go anyway, even if with an unprepared driver, would have been better. I hope you will understand our position. unfortunately these unforeseen events can happen, and we are not always prepared for the optimal solution. Regards Taxi Catania NCC
First off, I booked this tour December 30th at about 8:30pm via Viator fir Dec 31st tour. The operator emailed me right away to clarify things that made the tour go smoothly. When we arrived in Catania at 5:40 early in the morning, our driver Danilo was was waiting for us already. We had an early start, meaning our time was not wasted at all. When we reached in Taormina, I asked Danilo to check if we can add done of the Godfather places to check and he called his boss right away and was confirmed we can do it. I was happy and appreciated the flexibility. We were able to check the places that I wanted to go. Just a reminder, our driver is not a licensed tourist guide but he tells us where to go and drop us off and pick us up like “door to door”. I would suggest to google the best places to visit and tell the driver what you most like to visit and read all about it. You will appreciate more if you know the story behind that particular area. This tour works perfectly for us. Thank you Danilo for doing above and beyond of what you are doing. Cheers!
