We booked a Prison Island Tour with the Guide Juma. He spoke a good English and had a vast knowledge of the history of Zanzibar, prison island and surrounding. He is very recommendable.
We had the pleasure of exploring Stone Town with Juma as our guide, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Juma was exceptional in every way — his time, dedication, patience, and above all, his deep knowledge made the tour truly special. Juma is an excellent guide. He speaks English very well and has extensive knowledge of the history of Zanzibar. Initially, we only had an appointment for a city tour, but he also decided to join us on a trip to Prison Island in the morning. He was very knowledgeable about both and shared his stories in an engaging and interesting way. We have had many guides before, but he is without a doubt outstanding. Excellent value for money. And besides all the interesting information, we also shared a lot of laughs together. 100% recommended
