Our tour guide Andy was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to share the history of Rome. The description on Viator of the itinerary did not exactly match what we saw. Only major disappointment was having to ride backwards which caused a little car sickness due to the speed and turns, and was a little disorienting for sightseeing while riding. But our guide did a great job ensuring we enjoyed our trip!!
Our golf cart tour of Rome was absolutely awesome! It was one of the highlights of our trip. Julie was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both fun and memorable. The golf cart was the perfect way to see so much of Rome without all the walking, and we got to experience many incredible sights while learning about the history and culture of the city. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome. It was a great experience from start to finish and definitely something we will remember!
The BEST tour we took in Rome! Honestly, I wish I would have booked a whole day instead of 3 hours. Jack was our guide and he was wonderful. He told us all about the sites we visited and certainly knew how to get around the craziness that is Rome. He really made us feel that we were able to take our time and answered all our questions. If you're trying to figure out just one tour to take in Rome, this is the one!
Our tour guide did not speak very good English. He was late picking us up from our hotel. He asked 3 times what we wanted to see and each time I told him I wanted to see what was listed on the itinerary. He was frustrated by that but took us anyway. At a few stops he’d drop us off several blocks away and give us walking directions and tell us to meet back at the golf cart in 15 minutes. He went the wrong way down a one way street and got into a very aggressive argument with another driver. Then towards the end of the tour, we were walking and I had my phone in my hand. He asked if I’d complete a review then he reached over, took hold of my phone to capture the barcode from his phone and quickly selected 5 stars and filled in his name in the comment box. Fortunately I didn’t complete and submit that review. I think his name was Daniel. Unfortunately you can’t choose who you get with Viator. All of our other tour thru Viator have been very good. We just got a lazy and disrespectful guide in this one. If you get a good guide, this is a great way to get acclimated to the city and see some key places.

We travel frequently and have booked dozens of excursions through Viator. This was our first negative experience. * Missed our Tour Due to Poor Communication * Provider Was Impossible to Reach (stated they don’t use WhatsApp ) * We Never Found Our Guide * Worst Viator Experience We’ve Had Google Maps repeatedly directed you to different locations. * The provider could not be reached by WhatsApp. * We messaged through Viator immediately. * They asked for your exact location instead of calling or meeting you. * The tour departed without making a reasonable effort to find us * The provider then refused a refund, and was extremely rude. Unprofessional. We hope that Viator no longer works with this vendor.

Great tour. Thanks Dino. he took us around the entire perimeter of the city, including all of the major sites and we enjoyed them.
We had a great time with Ernesto touring around Rome! We had a limited time to enjoy the city, so this tour was perfect for 2 couples, especially in the extreme heat! Every site had great opportunities for pictures and learning about Rome’s history, and also places to get refreshments to beat the heat. The golf carts were very comfortable and we felt very safe even in the Rome traffic. Thanks Ernesto!
