Piazza Venezia è uno snodo centrale di Roma, in cui si intersecano diverse arterie, tra cui la Via dei Fori Imperiali e la Via del Corso. Prende il nome dal Palazzo Venezia, costruito dal cardinale veneziano Pietro Barbo (poi papa Paolo II) a fianco della chiesa di San Marco, patrono di Venezia. Il Palazzo Venezia fungeva da ambasciata della Repubblica di Venezia a Roma.
Il Circo Massimo è un antico stadio romano di corsa dei carri e luogo di intrattenimento di massa a Roma. Nella valle tra l'Aventino e il Palatino, fu il primo e più grande stadio dell'antica Roma e del suo successivo Impero.
La fontana, all'incrocio di tre strade (tre vie), segna il punto terminale della "moderna" Acqua Vergine: la rinnovata Aqua Virgo, uno degli acquedotti che fornivano acqua all'antica Roma.
Un concorso indetto nel 1717 fu vinto da Francesco de Sanctis, anche se si pensò a lungo che Alessandro Specchi avesse prodotto l'opera vincitrice. Poco si sa dell'architetto, che fu favorito dai francesi nel processo di progettazione. Il suo disegno fu inciso da Girolamo Rossi nel 1726, con una lunga dedica a Luigi XV

Piazza del Popolo è una grande piazza urbana di Roma. Il nome in italiano moderno significa letteralmente "Piazza del Popolo", ma storicamente deriva dai pioppi (populus in latino, pioppo in italiano) da cui prende il nome la chiesa di Santa Maria del Popolo, nell'angolo nord-est della piazza.
Gianicolo si trova appena fuori dalla città antica ed è un ottimo posto da visitare per allontanarsi dal trambusto di Roma. Senza contare che il panorama dalla cima della collina è mozzafiato.

Claudio our tour guide was outstanding! He was friendly and knowledgeable. He would explain each area of interest to us then we would get out and walk and could take our time He also took us to a great lunch and the food was delicious
Max was amazing and worked with us on our preferences! We were exhausted after the Vatican and he accommodated by creating an experience that minimized walking. He taught us so much about the history of Rome and threw in some u expected surprises. This is the best type of tour and allows to to pay more attention since it’s private.
The guide was very informative and friendly. But the tour ended over an hour short and we never saw the Colosseum! This was very disappointing!

I also add to your tour a walking tour with me around rome. where it was possible to park the minivan. This tour does not provide any walking tour for any sites with guide but only the driver guide service from a site to another. If you spent less time to see the monuments listed for example 10 minutes only at the trevi fountain, the disposal will be shorter obviously and not 7 hours. I told for example at the pantheon that was the last stop. You never ask me to take you to see the colosseum. In the morning for example your daughter ask me about the catacombs and I took you to see the appian way and the catacombs. The tour is very flexible but if you run from a place to another because you think you can see more is wrong. When we complete the sites listed we take you back at the starting point. If you just told me i would have take you to see even the forum with no problem. The time has never ever been a problem. We booked Max the owner as our guide for this full day of Roma tour and Marco his partner showed up on time for pick up at our hotel with a clean and comfortable van. I Was hoping Marco would be a great guide as we heard Max was from others before our trip. Marco did not let us down. This full Sunday tour was amazing and a highlight of our trip. Marco was fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. Could not have asked for a better guide. We saw so many sights and learned a lot. I fully recommend this company for all your tour needs. Our guide Marco was great. He was very accommodating when my son had a nose bleed. He had great knowledge and literature to help bring each site to life. He was skilled at driving and parking, so we were able to maximize our time at each site. He was very open to hearing what we wanted to see and experience and helped me shop for a specific item I was searching for.
We had only one day to spend in Rome and wanted to see all the major sites in that little time frame. The tour guide we had - Max Parini- made this one amazing tour of Rome. It was done with such ease. We never felt like we were in a crowd and never waited in a queue. His knowledge and expert ability of getting around Rome and knowing best times to see the major sites made our tour. His English is excellent and he knew practically everyone at the sites. Highly recommend!!
It was a bitter sweet trip for me because it was our 50th wedding anniversary gift from our son, but my husband passed away in April....Max, the owner was aware and made our trip so special. He is the best tour guide we ever had. He's extremely personable, knowledgeable, kind and amusing. Also an excellent driver. We saw so much in a day, everything on our tour that was listed and then some. It was extremely hot but he went and got the car so we didn't have to walk in the heat. I would highly recommend Max and his company.
