Itinerario
Ritiro presso l'alloggio a Città del Capo. Riceverai un trasferimento condiviso dal tuo hotel a Città del Capo al distretto di Silo, dove sarai scortato al Nelson Mandela Gateway. Qui noleggerai un museo condiviso con Robben Island, dove incontrerai un ex prigioniero politico che condurrà il tour dell'isola. (Si prega di notare che la nostra guida/autista non si unirà a te nel tour del museo di Robben Island.) L'intero tour dura +-4 ore che include il prelievo dall'hotel. Per parte del tour, verrai trasportato in giro per l'isola in autobus, prima di visitare la cella della prigione di Nelson Mandela e fare la lunga passeggiata verso la libertà. Al nostro arrivo al molo, la tua guida/autista ti incontrerà all'ingresso del Nelson Mandela Gateway per la tua prossima tappa.
Dopo il Robben Island Tour, incontrerai il tuo autista che ti aspetta al Waterfront gateway, ti consiglierà il miglior ristorante per il pranzo. Dopo pranzo il tour prosegue verso la più bella Table Mountain, qui farai il giro del carrello della funivia per vedere la vista mozzafiato di Città del Capo. Avrete la possibilità di scattare tutte le foto che volete. NOTA BENE : I biglietti Table Mountain Entry sono inclusi solo quando si sceglie l'opzione "Tutti i biglietti inclusi".
Conosciuto come il quartiere malese è il colorato Bo-Kaap. Un quartiere multiculturale popolato prevalentemente da musulmani. Bo-Kaap contiene la più grande concentrazione di architettura precedente al 1850 in Sud Africa ed è il più antico quartiere residenziale sopravvissuto a Cape Town. Qui sperimenterai le bellissime case arcobaleno, imparerai di più sulla storia e la cultura di Bo-Kaap, assaggerai la deliziosa cucina di Cape Malay in uno dei migliori ristoranti, potrai socializzare con la gente del posto e scattare molte foto artistiche e colorate mozzafiato.
Il più antico giardino, parco e patrimonio del Sud Africa. Fu originariamente creato nel 1650 per coltivare e produrre cibo fresco per riempire le navi che circondano il promontorio. Il cibo è buono da morire perché servono cibo tradizionale capetoniano insieme al pranzo standard, il cibo è semplice ma delizioso. Il Giardino ospita anche la South African National Gallery, ospita mostre temporanee di alcuni dei migliori artisti del paese e occasionalmente anche artisti internazionali. Questo è un ottimo modo per trascorrere qualche ora e dare da mangiare agli scoiattoli, assaggiare il cibo capetoniano e andare a una mostra d'arte alla South African National Gallery.
Una chiesa metropolitana di 44 anni della Chiesa anglicana del Sud Africa e una congregazione. Questa chiesa fu usata come sede religiosa e politica dal primo arcivescovo nero di Città del Capo, Desmond Tutu. Il defunto arcivescovo Desmond Tutu era noto a livello internazionale per aver guidato un movimento attivista anti-apartheid da qui, ha invitato persone di ogni razza e provenienza in questa chiesa e per questo motivo la cattedrale è stata riconosciuta da molti come un simbolo della democrazia. Le vetrate sono molto attraenti e proprio di fronte c'è una parte del Muro di Berlino.
Una chiesa riformata olandese a Città del Capo e il più antico luogo di culto cristiano in Sud Africa fu costruita nel 1841 da Herman Schuette. Questa chiesa è il fulcro della piazza dei quadri, in piedi poco meno di 150 piedi, il campanile si erge dall'edificio del doppio transetto mentre svettanti finestre di vetro colorato e un alto soffitto con volta a botte abbelliscono l'interno.

Robben Island was great. The tour guide on the bus and the in the prison were very knowledgeable and great captivating speakers. Amiable took us on the city tour afterwards and he was very knowledgeable about the history of cape town and ZAR in general. I would do this tour again for sure.

Overcharged by a HUGE amount by Cape Tours Do NOT use this company Cape Tours to book this tour - they overcharged by 230 GBP!! I really recommend you book direct with Robben Island, and save yourself over 200 GBP! Unfortunately Aim Cape Tours are overcharging by a HUGe amount!! I hope this review can help save you some GBP.

I was a little leery of this tour after reading reviews that described disorganiztion, but our experience was very smooth despite the necessary handoffs. Our Viator guide brought us all to the ferry station, and stayed behind as Robben Island has their own well trained bus tour guides and then ex prisoner guides for the high security prison. Our Viator guide was clearly waiting for us upon return, it was an easy rendezvous. We had lunch at the top of Table Mountain, I would recommend waiting to buy tram tickets until on site, as the trams shut down in heavy winds. Our driver took us to the kiosk which is apparently the best kept secret in the world as there were lines at the ticket booths, but absolutely no one at the kiosk!

We had the best time with our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, Amiable! What makes this tour standout from others is the extra town visits - bo kapp and the gardens and the history of the churches were my faves! The Robben Island tour was informative with previous inmate sharing his personal stories and the history of the island. The table mountain cable car is a must! We were blessed with a stunningly perfect day - not windy and clear skies - it was actually an advantage the tour ticket does not include the cable car tickets as the local weather on top of the mountain is unpredictable so there will be days it will be closed. Plus, the tickets are easy to buy on the day! So yes, I highly recommend this tour, worth every dollar! Kudos to the operators!
