Esploriamo e riscopriamo Ragusa, Modica e Scicli. Il tour segue un itinerario che include storia, arte, fede e cultura. Vi invitiamo a trascorrere una giornata visitando il più grande laboratorio di sviluppo urbano barocco e dei suoi dintorni. Centinaia di chiese sparse qua e là, imponenti basiliche, piccole chiese seminascoste in vicoli affollati, edifici dalle insolite soluzioni architettoniche, portali, storie sulle antiche famiglie nobili, rappresentano il prezioso patrimonio della più grande fioritura dell'arte barocca siciliana, che rende questi luoghi , la loro atmosfera e il loro paesaggio sono davvero unici.

Itinerario
Il tour inizia a Ragusa Ibla con la visita del centro storico in stile barocco. Ragusa ibla può essere considerata un vero e proprio museo a cielo aperto, dove l'opulenza del barocco ibleo coesiste in sinergia con la natura dei monti iblei. Qui ammireremo la meravigliosa Cattedrale di San Giorgio in Piazza Duomo, il "Portale di San Giorgio", un meraviglioso arco in stile gotico catalano risalente al 1400, il bellissimo "Giardino Ibleo" e molti edifici in stile barocco.
Proseguiamo per Modica, il cui centro storico (Modica bassa), è anch'esso in stile barocco. Le due cattedrali, San Giorgio, che domina il paese dalla cima del colle e San Pietro, situata lungo la strada principale, sono entrambi esempi straordinari del barocco siciliano. Faremo una sosta presso l'antica cioccolateria di Bonajuto per assistere alla spiegazione del processo di produzione del tipico cioccolato locale, realizzato secondo un'antica ricetta degli Aztechi portata in Sicilia dagli spagnoli durante la loro dominazione. La degustazione gratuita di cioccolato è inclusa!
Finiremo per visitare l'affascinante villaggio di Scicli, dove, ancora una volta, il principale stile architettonico è il barocco. Attraversiamo l'affascinante paesaggio ricco di ripide pareti calcaree, carrubi, muretti, chiesette e cave, e arriviamo alla vista di quella che chiameremmo una gemma nel cuore della Sicilia. Iniziamo il tour della città a piedi con il Parco archeologico di Chiafura, dove sarà possibile vedere le grotte scavate nella roccia calcarea dove molte famiglie hanno vissuto fino alla metà del secolo scorso. Quindi, partendo dalla chiesa di San Bartolomeo, attraverseremo il centro città ricco di palazzi e chiese in stile barocco che fecero di Scicli entrare a far parte del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO.

My friend and I really appreciated our Ragusa, Modica & Scicli tour with Riccardo of Taxi Catania NCC . He was professional, friendly and made sure we had the time and space to explore these Sicilian towns on our full-day adventure! I highly recommend him!
Ricardo was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and easy-going. I highly recommend this tour. Modica chocolate tour needs to be scheduled ahead of time, so something to look into before going.
Roberto was incredible. So informative, flexible, and considerate. We saw so much. He stopped at numerous wonderful overlooks for photos. His knowledge of the history, geography, and customs of the area gave us insight of the area. He gave us choices of what to see and how to see them in each locale. Martino was great. We covered a lot of ground that day. He took us to a number of Fabulous places to admire great views of the area. He was happy to take pictures of us at special places which we appreciate. He was friendly informative it was a pleasure to spend the day with him.
A excellent experience. Driver was absolutely great. He was very knowledgeable and flexible. The towns visited were baroque jewels.
I booked this tour and I asked to my friend who lives in Taormina to come with me . The driver was totally ignored me whole the time and only chatting with my friend in Italian. I was totally invisible to him . I know he was a just driver but I really did not feel welcome by this driver just chatting with my friend in Italian . I was the one who is paying whole price and my friend supporsed to be my guide . At the end ,he even asked my friend if she enjoyed this tour but not to me . I appreciate him being flexible to change the route a bit . However not appropriate for treated me as invisible whole time . I am very generous tipper when it comes to tipping since I worked most of my life as customer service getting tip from my customer .so I understand how tip helps . Too bad I’ve did not get 25percent tip I prepared for him .

Anyway, the driver talked to your friend because She was Speaking italian, so easier for him to keep conversation, and he did not know Who booked and Who was invited as a friend; for the driver both of you were clients.

We spent the day with Martino of Taxi Catania. He met us promptly at the agreed upon location. He was very flexible allowing us to to totally change our itinerary to suit our needs. He was very friendly and anxious to make sure we enjoyed our day. We especially enjoyed walking , shopping and eating in Catania. I would recommend him without reservation
Our guide was a hour late because he went or was sent to the wrong port. Verified that I put the correct port on my reservation. We had a o completely miss one of the cities. While I was very happy with our time in Modica and Ragusa, would have like to make it to Sicili. Our driver spent a fair amount of time on the phone as well. The vehicle was nice and clean. Our driver was nice and courteous. When I reached out to the tour provider, the response was “well these things happen”. Not really the response I was expecting. I paid for a tour to 3 cities and got 2.
