Piazza San Marco è sempre stata la piazza più importante di Venezia ed è stata definita "il più bel salotto d'Europa".
Il Palazzo Ducale è uno dei migliori esempi di stile gotico veneziano. Era la residenza del Doge e il cuore politico e giudiziario della città.
Il campanile di San Marco è uno dei simboli simbolo di Venezia. Scopri la sua storia e come è stata ricostruita dopo il crollo del 1902.
La Torre dell'Orologio è un edificio del primo Rinascimento sul lato nord di Piazza San Marco.
Le Procuratie (letteralmente "procuranze") sono tre edifici collegati in Piazza San Marco. Sono anche collegati al Clocktower di San Marco. Sono edifici storici sopra i portici, l'ultimo dei quali completato sotto l'occupazione di Napoleone.
La Basilica di San Marco è anche conosciuta come la Basilica d'oro per i suoi preziosi mosaici. In origine serviva come cappella del Doge, il capo della Repubblica di Venezia. È ancora considerato uno dei più noti esempi di architettura italo-bizantina. L'ingresso non è consentito di domenica.

A visit in French is not a luxury! The visit was very informative, with a lot of information provided and exchanges about the different civilizations (France and Venice); listening to Argentina was captivating, and we didn't notice the three hours passing. We recommend this format!
Denise is a great tour guide very proud of her native city and makes a very interesting presentation of the Dukes life on the palace
It was cancelled by the tour operator with NO NOTICE to us after we delayed our departure from Venice
We just aware skip-the-line tickets for st. Mark’s basilica tour was not available when we arrived and told by the tour guide today (21Sep), which was very disappointed. We come all the way from Hong Kong to Rome to Florence & Venice and this is part of our important journey. Since we will fly to London tomorrow, there’s no time for us to visit anymore. Therefore, please refund the St. Mark’s Basilica skip-the-line tickets (x3 people) for me in cash. Pls reply by email at anitalam@gmail.com for the arrangement as soon as possible. Booked through Get Your Guide and confirmed booking. Waited over an hour in searing heat and the private guide did not arrive for our booking. Another family were also waiting for their guide who did not turn up either. After many telephone calls and messages, they said that there was no guide available. Very upsetting for our family and children in tears. Not apologetic at all, and all GYG could do was a refund. Use another company!
Great guide with lots of knowledge experience made our tour great. My son who is 4 was interested in the exhibits.
The tour operator refused to honour our tickets on the day, even though they conceded we booked some time ago. The local tour operator staff were also arrogant and rude. Viator, on the other hand, was highly professional and helpful and we rebooked with another tour.
Booked Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s through get your guide. The tour operators did not arrive. It cancelled 10 minutes after it was supposed to start. We could not get our entry tickets and missed this experience in Venice. When you travel this far you expect better. Do not book this guide. They will disappoint you.
Sun Oct 6, 2024- Texas, USA CANCELLED-NOExplanation! Beware!!😠 Got there 20 minutes early to get our tickets. Showed the the guy our confirmation and he said our tour was cancelled, you should have received an email. I checked my email, NO cancelation emailed received! We recvd hours count down before our tour. A family from Chicago booked their tour 4 wks before and theirs was cancelled also with NO explanation or email notice. Hopefully we'll get our money back. Filed complaint with CC company THAT day! Had a GREAT time in Venice except for THIS tour! Buyer Beware!
I loved learning the history from our guid who was very knowledgeable but a little hard to understand. We also loved the terrace access and over looking the square! Skipping the longs lines is always a bonus!
