Tour di Oban, Highland Lochs, Glens, Castelli e Glencoe da Glasgow

Descrizione

Loved the day trip that went to Inverary, Oban with photo stops in Glencoe area. There were several short stops along the way to see the sights and stretch your legs. The stop at Inverary was good. Perhaps a little less time was needed in Inverary to permit more time in Oban. The stop in Oban was great - had a wonderful seafood lunch there. Our guide Kieran was great and had lots of stories about Scotland to tell. Really enjoyed our tour with Kieren.
It is great to hear how much you enjoyed your tour to Oban, including Inveraray and Glencoe. We are glad you got to make the most of these stops and we are also happy to hear that Ciaran was able to add to your experience with his stories. We hope to see you again soon! - Discover Scotland Tours

Long day of driving but the scenery is beautiful! Maggie was very sweet but not as entertaining as other guides I’ve toured with. Oban was great place for lunch and shopping - no need for stops at other touristy gift shops. Could have walked to Stalker castle (which all wanted to do) because there was no time, just took photos from far away, but then stopped at a couple of stops that were 20-30 minutes of wasted time. Also stopped in Town with castle with about a mile walk to castle and back each way, maybe could have dropped those who wanted to tour castle at parking lot rather than make us walk both ways- could have done more in that town that way.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and provide feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed the scenery and also enjoyed your stop in Oban for lunch. We are always looking at ways to improve our tours, so your feedback is much appreciated and we will take it on board. - Discover Scotland Tours

Our guide Kenan was AMAZING! He did a great job telling us bits of history about places we passed by (both at our stops and random fun facts) and was filled with a positive optimism and demeanor. We loved his humor! He even went the extra mile and did a quick stop for a kid who wanted to see some Highland Cows (with some awesome pictures to come from it for everyone!) If there was an opportunity along our route to get out and take some pictures of awesome scenery, he was more than happy to do it. It was clear that he really loved his country and was excited to share that love with us all. My husband and I both said that it was one of the best days of our lives, and that he was a part of making that experience so enjoyable. He took the time to joke with us all and get to know us and where we were from and were comfortable. Directions from him were clear when told where to be picked up after each excursion, and was professional all throughout the trip. He also told us for our stops some shops and good places to eat so we weren’t just dropped without an idea of what to do. Whatever this man is being paid, TRIPLE IT! Thank you Kenan for making our trip so amazing!
