Questo è il primo e unico tour a New Orleans creato appositamente per i viaggiatori che amano la street art contemporanea, la storia locale e l'esplorazione urbana! È un'ottima attività per artisti, amanti dell'arte, coppie, famiglie e viaggiatori singoli che desiderano uscire dal quartiere francese e sperimentare di più di ciò che la città ha da offrire.

Itinerario
Ci incontreremo al St. Coffee on St. Claude prima di partire per una passeggiata fotogenica piena di street art nascosta e storia dell'arte locale che si svolgerà nel 9°, 8° e 7° Wards. Le aree che esploreremo nel Bywater Historic District sono veramente "fuori dai sentieri battuti" e non vengono menzionate nelle guide o nei libri di viaggio. Mentre camminiamo per la strada, ti verranno presentati gli artisti locali e itineranti e i vari mezzi utilizzati per le arti pubbliche.
Impareremo la storia dell'arte locale e interpreteremo un'opera d'arte nel quartiere storico di St. Roch, quindi ci fermeremo per una breve pausa al mercato di St. Roch, vecchio di 149 anni, dove gli ospiti avranno accesso a snack gourmet, bevande ( compresi cocktail artigianali, birra e vino), acqua fredda e bagni puliti.
Interagiremo con l'arte scintillante del mosaico creata dall'artista internazionale Laurel True, visiteremo una moltitudine di murales creati da alcuni dei più noti artisti di strada della città ed esploreremo un breve tratto di strada che è diventato il sito di oltre due dozzine di opere d'arte pubbliche.
Passeggeremo fino ai margini del quartiere francese, dove visiteremo una delle opere d'arte rimaste di Banksy nella città di New Orleans e discuteremo dell'impatto che la sua arte ha avuto sulla comunità!

Really good Street Art tour with Dave. It was nice to get out of the typical touristy areas of New Orleans. We also got a lot of history about the music and culture of jazz/new orleans, which was really interesting to learn. Also, the art is fantastic.

I’m so glad I happened upon someone online plugging this NOLA artwork as the highlight of their trip to the Big Easy. I can definitely second that opinion. Our guide, Dave, was laid back but certainly no slouch when it came to knowing his stuff and sharing his expertise in and love for the New Orleans street art and music scenes. We saw and learned about a side of the city we never would have discovered like that on our own. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I spent an enjoyable and very informative morning walking around New Orleans on our tour looking at a great variety of street art murals. Our guide gave us great information about the artist, their background, and where they predominantly lives and worked. He was knowledgeable and a g gave us a lot of great information. The variety of styles and themes of the murals that we saw during the morning varied greatly and further increased enjoyment the of the day.
Well designed and paced. I was the only one who showed up for the tour but they still honored my reservation and I got a private tour!
