Inizia la tua giornata visitando la Valle dei Re, la magnificenza della grandiosità dell'architettura utilizzata per la sepoltura, ci sono molti re sepolti in questa valle. Visiterai 3 tombe esclusa la tomba del re Tutankhamon. Prosegui per goderti il Tempio della regina Hatshepsut, che fu costruito dalla regina Hatshepsut, figlia di Thutmosis I, che governò l'Egitto circa 20 anni durante la XVIII dinastia (circa dal 1490 al 1469 a.C.), l'unica donna faraonica che regnò nell'antico Egitto. Il Tempio di Hatshepsut, noto anche come Deir el-Bahari, è un antico tempio funerario egiziano situato sulla riva occidentale del fiume Nilo vicino alla città di Luxor. Fu costruito per la regina Hatshepsut, una delle poche donne faraoni dell'antico Egitto, che regnò nel XV secolo a.C. (circa 1479-1458 a.C.). I Colossi di Memnone sono due enormi statue di pietra situate sulla riva occidentale del fiume Nilo vicino alla città di Luxor in Egitto. Sono tutto ciò che resta di un più grande complesso di templi funerari costruito dal faraone Amenhotep III durante il XIV secolo a.C. (circa 1350-1334 a.C.). Le statue raffigurano Amenhotep III seduto sul trono e ciascuna statua è alta circa 18 metri (60 piedi) e pesa circa 700 tonnellate. Erano scolpiti in singoli blocchi di arenaria quarzite e originariamente collocati all'ingresso del tempio del faraone. Le statue furono create per custodire il tempio e per rappresentare il potere e l'autorità divina del faraone.

Our half-day tour started right at 5:30 AM when Ammar (our guide) and our driver picked us up at our hotel to head to the West Bank. Thanks to the early start, we were the very first people to enter the Valley of the Kings right at 6:00 AM—which was the absolute best way to beat the intense June heat and the crowds. We hit the absolute crowning heavyweights of the West Bank: the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Ammar seemed to know every local we encountered along the way, and everyone greeted us with warm smiles. He was fantastic at explaining thousands of years of history without overwhelming us with information. He also did a masterful job of balancing structured time explaining the history with plenty of "free time" for my wife and me to explore the sites on our own terms at each of the sites He was always prompt; available, and prepared. He also graciously took many requested photos of us. In fact, we enjoyed our morning tour so much that we asked Ammar to guide us through Karnak Temple as well. If you are visiting Luxor, I highly recommend booking this private tour!

Mahmoud was very kind and drove with a wonderful guide. When in the Valley of the Kings we made a mistake and came back to see only one grave, he went out of his way to turn around and come back to see it again. They also took us to a place we recommend for lunch, which was really good! He's the best driver I've ever seen! Thank you.

Mahmoud 's guide and it was great!! They provided water and juice, and the car was air-conditioned. They came as soon as I contacted them and were friendly! I'm very happy that they also taught me about tourist attractions!

Our guide was Ahmed Abdultief and the driver was Abdo. They were on time, the tour was well organized and ran smoothly with lots of information about the sites that we visited. I will recommend this tour.

Our private tour with Abdel was great! He has extensive historical and cultural knowledge, offering good information and taking time to answer all of our questions. Ahmed, our tour guide, and Alaa, our driver, picked us up from our hotel. They were very punctual and provided some water before we kicked off. The first stop was the Valley of the Kings. Ahmed was very knowledgeable about the area and the various tombs that we visited. We visited the tombs for Rameses IV, Merenptah, Rameses III, Tutankhamun and Rameses V and VI. Ahmed was very helpful when I lost one of my tickets too. The tombs were amazing and the highlight of our Egyptian tour. Next, we stopped by a souvenir store, which has much nicer items than the street sellers. Their prices are much higher than they are willing to take, so be prepared to haggle. The temple for Queen Hatshepsut was next on the agenda. Ahmed able to explain some of the pictures depicted on the walls and it provided great context to what we saw. The temple itself did at the bottom of cliffs, and the feeling it gives you is very different from the photos. The final stop was the Colossi of Memnon. This was really an opportunity for photos, there isn't much left of the ruins besides a few statues. Overall, the half day tour was well worth it. Ahmed provided great commentary and really liked after us. The only dampener was the heat, I would recommend going as early as possible to avoid the heat as much as you can. Thank you Ahmed and Alaa

Our guide was very friendly and had a lot of knowledge. As a result, he told a lot and the story was not easy to follow. We would have preferred to hear the core and highlights. We showed that too, but that was not taken up. If you are interested in the full history of the pharaohs and how the families work, this tour is a good choice. If you are looking for more of the common thread and interesting facts, choose someone else.
