I don't have much of a story to tell, because your driver was a no show. At 320 PM, I am on the phone with your tour operator and the driver still had not arrived. Needless to say I cancelled the trip. I do expect a complete refund for the trip. I waited for an hour before I started calling, and response, was very slow in coming. I expect to see a refund hit my credit card statement in the next couple of days. was the only activity I had planned on my trip and you let me down. I will consider avoiding using your services in the future.
Dear Roy, we are pretty sorry for the unhappiness on this tour. There was our inner problems caused the tour no show. It is our faulse for sure, we have refunded you the fees completely days ago, and I have called your hotel and tried to provide you the tour free later in order to make up our fause, but unfortunately you refused as a kindness. But I always keep the promise of free half day panda tour or other half day attraction tour for you whenever you come back Chengdu again. After the business let down in virus period, many things changed for the guide and suppliers as car and hotels. Anyway, those suppliers who can not meet our need will be renewed immediately in order to insure same problem would not happen again.
We visited here as part of our escorted China Tour. It was really great. The pandas were easily visible and all seemed happy in their environment. Well worth a visit.
We got a taxi from our apartment and arrived at 07:30 as they opened the gates to the public.and we made our way to the pandas who were being feed with newly cut bamboo. In total we saw about 50 pandas and incredible experience. After they eat apparently they go to sleep, you need to go early to get the best experience. You can buy panda toys in town much cheaper than the shop there. We found some panda T shirts at one of the airport shops there are none at the Panda Research Base.
This was by far the most exciting tour. I couldn't wait for the pandas to be released from there enclosures in the morning and then suddenly they all troop out. They are just the cutest. You are pretty darn close to view them though safe. The pandas have lovely areas to eat and play in. They appear to be well cared for and loved. We got to watch twins playing with their mother and what a blast that was. Make sure you do this when you are in Chengdu

This tour was amazing. I saw so many pandas I could not believe my eyes. My tour guide Seven spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. I could tell she also was very passionate about the pandas. I have recommended this tour to others already.
