La nostra avventura inizia con una visita al tranquillo Monastero di San Neofytos, immerso in una valle tranquilla. Fondato nel XII secolo dall'eremita e scrittore cipriota San Neofytos, questo luogo sacro è rinomato per i suoi affreschi splendidamente conservati e l'atmosfera serena.
Successivamente, ci fermeremo in un workshop locale dove imparerai a conoscere la creazione del loukoumi, l'amato dolce di Cipro. Guarda gli artigiani al lavoro, scopri i metodi tradizionali utilizzati e goditi un assaggio di queste deliziose confezioni.
Visiteremo poi la splendida Chiesa di Agia Paraskevi, una meraviglia architettonica del IX secolo con il suo design unico a cinque cupole. We had signed up for a walking tour but for some reason ended up with Maria on a tour of churches and a monastery in Paphos.which was extremely interesting. The final hour literally shoping in old Panos was not necessary. Maria might have made better use of the microphone. We were embarrassed that we could not provide a tip as Maria did not step out of the coach as individuals left.

We went on a half-day tour of Paphos with our 15 year old son and it was absolutely fantastic. Maria, our guide, was outstanding - knowledgeable, warm and incredibly attentive to our needs. She was especially kind and patient with our son, which made the experience even more meaningful for our family. We wanted a bespoke tour and Maria worked with us to personalise the day. Highlights included a visit to a loukoumi workshop, where we not only learned about this Cypriot sweet but also bought some to take home. Picked up by mini bus air conditioning was on as it was a very hot day . First we went to the monastery very peaceful lovely gardens. Then we went to a church also very peaceful. Went to see how Cyprus delight was made and bought some lol 😆 was dropped off in the old town where we had time to have a meal and do some shopping. Highly recommend this half day trip
