L'altopiano di Giza si trova appena fuori Il Cairo e ospita i monumenti più famosi dell'Egitto: La Grande Piramide di Khufu, La Piramide di Khafre, La piramide di Menkaure, La Grande Sfinge, E diversi templi della valle. Fu costruito oltre 4.500 anni fa e servì come luogo di sepoltura reale. Oggi, è una delle principali destinazioni turistiche del mondo e un simbolo dell'antica civiltà egizia.
La Grande Piramide di Giza, conosciuta anche come Piramide di Khufu, è la più grande e la più antica delle tre piramidi sull'Altopiano di Giza. Costruito oltre 4.500 anni fa durante il regno del faraone Khufu, originariamente era alto circa 146 metri. È l'unica delle sette meraviglie del mondo antico ancora in piedi oggi. La piramide è stata costruita utilizzando milioni di blocchi di calcare ed è servita come tomba reale.
La Seconda Piramide di Giza appartiene al faraone Khafre, figlio di Khufu. Sembra più alta della Grande Piramide perché costruita su un terreno più alto, ma in realtà è leggermente più piccola (circa 136 metri di altezza). È noto per avere ancora alcuni dei suoi involucri calcarei originali vicino alla cima e si trova vicino alla Grande Sfinge, che si ritiene sia stata costruita anche da Khafre.
La Terza Piramide di Giza appartiene al Faraone Menkaure, nipote di Khufu. È il più piccolo dei tre, alto circa 65 metri. Nonostante le sue dimensioni, è noto per il suo design elegante e un tempo era parzialmente ricoperto di granito rosso. È circondato da tre piramidi più piccole della regina nelle vicinanze.

We had an amazing tour with our tour guide Ahmed Magdy. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. We visited the Giza Pyramids and had plenty of time to explore without feeling rushed, which made a big difference. One of the highlights was entering the pyramid from the inside — such an unforgettable experience! We also enjoyed a camel ride, which was truly fun and unique. Visiting the Great Sphinx of Giza was another incredible moment. Honestly, the pyramids are even more impressive in real life than in photos. Big thanks to this wonderful company for such a well-organized and memorable tour. Highly recommended!

Unknown in Japan, it is overwhelming to visit. However, moving around the pyramids is tough even for me, who play sports every day, and you should be prepared to go in if you are elderly or don't usually exercise. My tour guide, ibrahim, works hard with me to explain things to me, which helps me to have a better image of Egypt.
