L'isola di Gorée è patrimonio dell'umanità classificato dall'UNESCO. In altre parole, questa famosa isola era molto attiva nella tratta degli schiavi, e dal 1536 al 1848, anno dell'abolizione della schiavitù, sarà il principale centro di transito, dove verranno spediti dai 15 ai 20 schiavi per l'America. La schiavitù inizierà per la prima volta sull'isola praticata dai portoghesi nel 1536. Sull'isola di Gorée, apriremo un capitolo della storia dell'umanità con la visita della CASA DEGLI SCHIAVI e della sua famosa "PORTA DEL NON RITORNO", che era l'ultimo anello dello schiavo con la madrepatria o in Africa .Qui impari come i neri sono stati maltrattati, declassati, brutalizzati dai mercanti di schiavi e dai loro collaboratori per quasi 4 secoli. Vedrai anche la chiesa francese del 1830, le ex roccaforti francesi, la nascita casa del primo deputato nero al parlamento francese, residenza del governatore francese. In breve imparerai molto sulla storia del paese, la schiavitù, la colonizzazione e così via.

Itinerario
Dal vostro hotel, andremo alla stazione dei traghetti, per prendere il traghetto per l'isola di Goree, dove abbiamo un appuntamento, con la storia dell'umanità. L'isola di Gorée era uno dei luoghi importanti, dove gli schiavi venivano spediti per l'Europa e l'America. Lì visiteremo lo schiavo, dove vedrai la famosa "porta del ritorno" e le celle, dove gli schiavi venivano ammanettati, in attesa che le barche tornassero e li portassero. Poi faremo il giro dell'isola alla scoperta del mondo Poi passeremo alla chiesa francese del 1830, il luogo in cui i portoghesi avevano costruito la loro cappella del 1481, utilizzata all'epoca come cimitero per i missionari portoghesi, la residenza del governatore francese, il museo storico, le ex fortificazioni francesi. Insomma tutto il patrimonio. Pranzo sull'isola in un ristorante unico e tipico vicino al mare, e ritorno in hotel o luogo di arrivo. Vieni con il passaporto!

Sogui tours were not professional for me. Wade agreed to take me to do a Ngor and City tour for 250 dollars down from 300 he pretended to charge me I only hired him,as seem to have nice reviews. 24 hours before the trip he said was not going to attend and somebody else would I then i cancelled the trip as i wa snot willing ot pay this amount for somebody i did not know. I proceed to do another booking with Odessey with a remarkable guide that cos me 100 Euros less Not transparent
The day ,before the tour ,I called to tell you that your guide the driver will be there at 08:00 am . And you told that I didn't tell you ,that I will not be your guide And you said ,Am gonna cancel . My answer was no worries ,you can do it !!!! Am working with many guides , if we have some tours , everyone will go somewhere. There is no issues , You said ,I wanted to overcharge you . That is not the truth. You wanted to pay less than 250 USD ,we were agree . And I said no : 250 USD ,or I cancel the tour . I don't have a Gorée Island tour for 100 USD ,with all the inclusions ( an air conditioned car, ferry ticket for Gorée Island , Slaves House , plus Dakar City . If you can pay 100 USD , that's good for you . If it's for that you are badly reviewing , it's the least of my worries . You wanna have a tour without paying the right and fair . That will not be with me . By the token ,you are not my customer . And stop judging people ,you don't who I am . What you are doing is easy , this is not greatness . Don't think ,you can destroy my business , you are wasting your time and energy . My apologies for being harsh with you .
Our guide,S. Wade, was very knowledgeable, told the history of Goree and made it come alive. He accommodated our tight schedule. EXCELLENT !!
