Il nostro autista ti aspetterà nella tua hall dell'hotel e proseguirà con il tour. Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple è un tempio tailandese di Penang famoso per il suo grande Buddha disteso placcato in oro, che si trova a 33 metri, è uno dei più grandi del mondo.
Dhammikarama Burmese Temple è un tempio buddista in stile birmano, fondato nel 1803, con elaborati e colorati stupa e sculture. Nella sala principale della preghiera, le voci sono ridotte a sussurrare e il silenzio è rotto solo dal suono occasionale delle campane del tempio. L'ultima aggiunta al tempio buddista di Dhammikarama è il campanile della pagoda dorata.

La Kapitan Keling Mosque è progettata su un curioso mix di stili, che combina l'architettura coloniale con i tradizionali archi moreschi, e le sue caratteristiche interne sono un fantastico lampadario di cristallo e pannelli di calligrafia. Costruito dai musulmani indiani principalmente il capo della comunità musulmana indiana, Kapten Caudeer nomina la moschea dopo se stesso e Keling che è stata l'origine della sua città natale.
Yap Temple che è il tempio del clan del Lum Yeong Tong Yap Kongsi, situato accanto ad esso. Il tempio del clan si trova all'angolo tra Armenian Street e Cannon Street, nella zona centrale del sito patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO di George Town.
La strada inizia dalla chiesa di St. George, gestita da anglicani, costruita dalla British East India Company nel 1819 ed è nota per essere l'edificio più antico di Penang. Costruito con un'architettura greca, l'interno è costituito da un fresco blu pastello con pavimenti in marmo e all'esterno dell'edificio principale sul terreno della chiesa è un memoriale di Sir Francis Light nella forma di un tempio greco.

Really good tour, our guides took us around Penang and explained the history of the island with lots of information we wouldn’t have been able to catch without him. We also visited lots of historical sites and then went to The Top, the highest point in Penang.

I cannot praise this highly enough.. from the very start (message confirming pick-up sent to me in good time) the car was comfortable and spotlessly clean. My host driver has been guiding for over twenty years and knows EVERYTHING there is to know about Penang, it’s culture, it’s history. I had a recent operation and at present have a cane nd I was taken great care of throughout the trip. Parking close to everything, assistance in exiting cr and dealing with any steps.. It was all done with such charm and friendliness and PROFESSIONALISM. I give this trip the highest “mark” I’ve ever given after decades of trip Reviews.

The tour was a breeze to order. A good value Our driver, Ronnie, was like having a history book along for the ride. I would schedule another tour knowing the caliber of drivers or guides the company has. Highly recommend the tour.

Yes I does say in the description that if they can’t get tickets for Petronas they will get KL tower tickets. But they should have a note that if you are doing “ Reserve and pay later” that they won’t buy the tickets until the day before the event. The reason I purchased this specific tour is because the Petronas towers tickets were included. Also the Batu caves. The tour is pretty expensive but we did not see the Batu caves because of an Hindu holiday and we did not go up the observation deck for Petronas tower. When we got on the car I asked the driver if he got the tickets for the Petronas tower and he said yes. I said wonderful ! I told him that since we were not going to Batu caves that we wanted to go to KL tower but we will pay for them. He stopped in a store and bought KL tower tickets. When we got to Petronas Tower he said: there is the entrance. We asked him: ok but we need the tickets. Then he said: oh no we called yesterday and the tickets were sold out so you got KL tower tickets. I was so upset!! The driver was almost mute he wil point to the next place and say the name tat is all. This was the worse Viator tour we have taken.
