The Chronicle of Georgia è uno dei momenti salienti di Tbilisi. 16 enormi pilastri mostrano la storia della Georgia e dei suoi governanti, nonché le scene della Bibbia. Da lì si apre una splendida vista sulla città e sul mare di Tbilisi.

The tour description is very accurate. The operator was very kind to give a detailed explanation of amount of walking involved! This is a great way to see Mtskheta and Chronicles of Georgia. Chronicles and Javri are quite windy. Wear walking shoes and sun-protection in whatever form!
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback and for the four-star rating, Ananth. I am very glad to hear that you found the tour description accurate and that you enjoyed the journey to Mtskheta and the Chronicle of Georgia. Thank you also for highlighting the tips about wearing walking shoes and using sun protection. As we discussed before the trip to ensure your parents had a smooth and comfortable experience, preparing for the walking and the windy conditions at Jvari and the Chronicles makes a big difference. Your reminder will be incredibly helpful for future travelers planning their visit. It was a pleasure hosting you and your parents, and I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your holiday in Georgia.
Jonah was very knowledgeable and freely shared his insights about the current and historical social and political conditions in Georgia. He was respectful and helpful at all times, assisting us to negotiate the various sites on the tour. This tour is an excellent way to gain a better understanding of Georgia’s historical context. You will see some fabulous sites with one on one guidance to understand their significance.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Raylee! We are absolutely delighted that you had such a great experience on our Mtskheta and Chronicle of Georgia tour. Jonah is an incredible guide, and we are so glad his insights into our history and culture gave you a deeper understanding of our country. It is lovely to hear that his attentive guidance made visiting these sites so smooth and meaningful for you. We truly appreciate your high recommendation and wish you fantastic travels ahead!
I had an amazing experience on this private Mtskheta tour! Ana from Friendly Georgia was incredibly helpful in personalizing the itinerary so I could visit a few extra places I really wanted to see, which made the tour feel very special and tailored just for me. My guide, Khatuna, was absolutely fantastic! Sha has an incredible wealth of historical knowledge and hearing all the fascinating stories about Georgia’s ancient capital was such a pleasure. She is also super friendly, warm and welcoming and to tip it all off, she is an amazing photographer too! I truly loved this tour and highly recommend it - and having Khatuna as guide, is the best bonus!
Thank you so much for this wonderful review, Elpiniki! It was an absolute pleasure helping you tailor your itinerary to include those extra spots. We always want to make sure our private experiences feel unique and match exactly what our guests are hoping to see during their time with us. I will happily pass your kind words along to Khatuna. She has an incredible passion for sharing the history of our ancient capital, and she will be delighted to know you enjoyed her stories and her photography skills. Having a guide who can capture great memories of your trip is always a wonderful bonus! Thank you again for your trust in our team. We wish you the very best on all your future travels!
Mtskheta was as beautiful and fascinating as expected, but the day was greatly enhanced by opting for this tour instead of one of the large groups from Tbilisi. Khatuna was a wonderfully warm, informative, and engaging guide; you couldn't ask for a better ambassador for Georgia. She truly lived up to the "friendly" in the company name. The tour was very well paced and an excellent value. I learned a lot about Mtskheta and Georgian history without being overwhelmed by dates and facts, and Khatuna provided a lot of context and recommendations. I really wanted to see Shio Mgvime, so the optional add-on was greatly appreciated and provided a peaceful break in between the larger tourist sites.
Dear Bridget, thank you so much for your kind words! It truly made my morning to read about your experience in Mtskheta and the peaceful time you had at Shio-Mgvime. I have already shared your review with Khatuna, and she was so happy to hear that you enjoyed the stories and the pace of the day. She always strives to be a true ambassador for Georgia, so knowing she made your trip memorable means the world to us. We honestly believe our guests are amazing, and it is travelers like you who make our work so rewarding. We are delighted that you chose to explore the history of our country with us rather than joining a large group. I hope you continue to have a wonderful time in Georgia and keep that smile on your face throughout your travels!
We had a great morning with Khato, the sites were fantastic and we learned a lot about Georgian history. She was very engaging and answered all of our questions with thoughtfulness and humor.
Anthony, it’s so lovely to hear you had such a fun morning! Khato has a real gift for bringing history to life with her humor and stories—she will be so happy to read this. I am glad you enjoyed the sites and felt so looked after. Hope the rest of your time in Georgia is just as wonderful!
First off: Khatuna is a true gem!! She is sociable, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and catered our half-day tour to our needs. THANK YOU, Khatuna! The place we visite were really wonderful. The guide introduced us not online to the place but also to the Georgian lifestyle and history. She was really prepared and nice. Bottiglia here and the driver were very kind. Thank you!

My guide was superb. Very knowledgeable and accommodating to my needs. We departed and returned on time.
Dear Gautam, Thank you so much for your kind review! We are very happy to know that you enjoyed the Ancient Mtskheta & Chronicle of Georgia tour. It means a lot that you appreciated your guide’s knowledge and care, and that the tour ran smoothly. We hope to welcome you again to explore more of Georgia with us on your next visit.
Khato is a great guide, very knowledgeable and charismatic, it was a big pleasure to tour with her. She told us many interesting stories about Georgia and answered all the questions we had, even those that had nothing to do with the tour. Even my usually very „bored“ kid said that it was a very good experience, which is very rare. We also felt very safe with her as a driver because the driving style of Georgians is often very adventurous but she knew exactly what she was doing. I can hardly imagine a better guide, I hope our paths will cross again in the future.
Dear Katarzyna, Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that Khato made your day in Mtskheta so memorable — she truly is one of a kind: knowledgeable, charismatic, and always with a story up her sleeve. We especially loved hearing that even your “usually bored” kid enjoyed the tour — that’s the highest praise we could hope for! 😊 We do our best to offer meaningful, comfortable experiences, but it’s amazing guests like you who make each tour truly special. We’ll be waiting here in Georgia, hoping our paths cross again soon!
