I had a great time on the Half-Day Phnom Penh City Tour and would absolutely recommend it. My tour guide, Kakada, was fantastic. His English was excellent, he had a great sense of humor, and he was genuinely friendly and easy to talk to. He made the tour both informative and enjoyable, and did a great job explaining Cambodia’s culture as well as its complicated and emotional history. The driver was also great, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The only constructive feedback I’d share is about the tour information itself, and this isn’t a reflection on my guide at all. It wasn’t totally clear in the description that you’re supposed to choose between a cultural-themed tour or a genocide-themed tour, since the itinerary seems to list all sites together but in other places it says you need to choose between the two option. That said, Kakada was very flexible and let me choose a mix of both, and I was able to pick four attractions, which worked out perfectly. There was also a small pickup confusion. The Viator listing said there were only two pickup points, so I took a Grab to one of the hotels, but later found out hotel pickup and drop-off was actually possible. Again, not a big deal, and more of a clarity issue on the tour company’s side than anything else. Overall, this was a really informative and enjoyable tour. Kakada and the driver did an excellent job showing me Phnom Penh, its culture, and its history. Highly recommended!

We’re especially happy to know that Kakada made such a positive impression. He will be very pleased to hear your kind words about his English, sense of humor, friendliness, and his ability to explain Cambodia’s culture and complex history in an informative and engaging way. We’re also glad to hear that our driver contributed to a smooth and comfortable experience throughout the tour. Thank you as well for your constructive feedback regarding the tour description. We sincerely appreciate you pointing this out, as clarity is very important to us. Your comments about the cultural-themed and genocide-themed options are noted, and we will review our listing to make this choice clearer for future travelers. We’re glad Kakada was flexible and able to customize the tour to your preferences so you could enjoy a well-balanced mix of attractions. We also apologize for the pickup confusion and appreciate your understanding. Your feedback helps us identify areas where we can improve our communication to ensure a smoother experience from the very beginning. Once again, thank you for your recommendation and for highlighting both the strengths of the tour and areas for improvement. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you again in the future for another meaningful experience in Cambodia. Best regard, Lay
