La nostra guida esperta di storia e cultura ti porta con un trasporto privato a piazza Kathmandu Durbar, che è un antico palazzo reale. Ci sono molti templi a pagoda con finestre ben scolpite e altro ancora. I templi sono molto storici e sacri, realizzati dal XII secolo al XVII secolo. La dea vivente (Kumari) è una delle più importanti da visitare nella piazza di Kathmandu Durbar.
Lo stupa di Swayambhunath si trova su una stazione collinare, da dove si può vedere molto bene la vista della valle di Kathmandu e della montagna bianca. È un sito buddista e molto sacro per il buddismo. Swayambhunath è anche conosciuto come un tempio delle scimmie perché molte scimmie vivono qui intorno. Bandiere colorate di preghiera buddista tibetana, stupa e molti altri monumenti antichi sono le cose da esplorare in questo luogo.

The day tour included places all around Kathmandu, such as the Monkey temple, the Palace, the Bouddahanath, Durbar Square, the Kumari, Art galleries, and Pashupatinath. Rajesh was very knowledgeable about the history and stories of each place, and allowed time for a bit of wandering, inquiries, and photos. We drove to most sites, but there was a lot of walking from place to place as well, so comfortable shoes are a must! It was overall very fascinating and a wonderful way to spend the day exploring and learning.
