Amazingly beautiful and hot tour in the Altyn-Emel National Park. Excellent driver in a speedy 4x4, fast, bumpy and fun. Felt safe the whole time. The guides were fun, friendly and attentive. Thanks to Ayau who always offered to take pictures and was very friendly and happy! Thanks to Kassym who was encouraging, helped carrying our backpack so that we could make it to the top of the Singing Dunes. He was always checking up on us and making sure we were ok. We had a delicious homemade meal in a lovely lady’s house, she made us feel so welcomed and even gave us beds to rest. Although is was a long day with lots of driving it was definitely worth it! Bring a hat, thin long sleeved shirt etc, plenty of water, a small hand spray with water and good shoes. We climbed the dunes in socks which was great, you might want to bring an extra pair in the car…

One day tour to Altyn Emel and Singing dunes was intense but very cool experience! The driver picked us up and drove to the gas station where we met our guide John and could buy some snacks/coffee. After arriving to the the reserve the guide did some historic introduction and shared fun facts about the nature and animals living in the reserve. Our group was small (7 people + guide + 2 drivers) and I really liked it! John turned out to be really cool and funny guy. We drove to the Altyn Emel and walked around beautiful desert and chatted with the guide and other tourmates. John explained how the mountains were formatted and took some cool pictures of us. Also our drivers was so nice to help some tourists with their car as it stopped driving in the middle of nowhere (driving there alone sounds really risky!). Then we drove to the lunch spot. Everything was homemade and really good! I really appreciate they have prepared vegetarian option of the soup and lagman for me. After that we drove to the Singing Dunes and unfortunately the weather got worse. The wind was getting stronger and stronger so the sand was everywhere! I recommend leaving your belongings in the car and wearing long pants, a hat/scarf and sunglasses (i had sand in my eyes anyway! would not wear contact lenses if I knew) and don’t reapply SPF before going to the dunes - the sand will stick to all of your skin and there is a long way back in the car ahead of you 😅 Sliding down the dunes was fun and we could really hear the vibrations! That was pretty long and instense day, but it was planned well and I really liked chill atmosphere and a small group. Definitely recommend!

The views are extremely breathtaking at the Aktau mountains and Singing Dunes (Barkhan) in Altyn-Emel National Park. Hiking up the Singing Dunes (Barkhan) in the scorching sun was definitely tiring, but worth the effort & sweat. Our guide, Sony is an cheery person with a positive personality. She is attentive and helpful in many ways. I would have appreciated more offhand specific information about the local sites we visited and local food we ate though, as it complements the whole tour experience. I was in a small group of 5, and they were all amazing as well. Our driver (Osman/Rosman) was very punctual and responsible. Overall, I will definitely recommend this tour as it very memorable💞.

Booked the 1 day Aktau mountain tour and it was breathtaking. The scenery was amazing but what made this tour even more special was our guide Sony. She was super friendly and knowledgable! It was so much fun! Would definitely recommend if you’re in Almaty!

Attending one-day tour to Aktau Mountains and Singing Dunes in the Altyn Emel National Park organized by Kazakhstan, Very Nice! was a great opportunity to visit very difficult to reach and remote natural wonders within one day. Our knowledgeable guide Bauka and our experienced driver made sure that our very small three-person group safely and in comfortable conditions covered at least 500 km by air-conditioned Toyota Landcruiser. Hotel pick-up was provided. Communication with the organizer via WhatsApp was very good. We were given sufficient amount of time to enjoy each of the visited places and take photos. As the tour started at 5:30 and finished at 22:00, taking into account a long and intensive in sightseeing day, a hearty home made lunch was a very good source of energy before climbing the summit of the Singing Dune. This tour is an excellent choice for each traveller who would like to make the most of their limited time during holiday in Almaty. With Kazakhstan, Very Nice!, their dedicated guides and professional drivers you will see tourist attractions you would never reach by yourself within one day due to big distances and lack of knowledge of local geography. Since the tour's group was very small and only a 4WD car was suitable to travel on demanding ground roads leading to the breathtaking natural wonders visited, to my mind the activity's a little bit high price

A very long day, but one that was definitely worth it ! Didi was a great guide and was friendly and engaging throughout the whole tour, i can't reccomend her enough. I wouldn't have been able to see those beautiful mountains or sand dunes without a tour like this, transportation and everything was organized perfectly so I could just relax and take it all in. A tip: bring some good shoes and snacks. There is a lot of hiking, but the views are worth it. :)

Fabulous tour. Great driver. Didi was an excellent guide, helpful and engaging. It's a long day but both the journey there and the sites themselves were great. Good to get to see the beautiful Kazakhstan countryside. We'll worth it. I would highly recommend it

We had an amazing day with John the guide, he made every part of the trip so great and I would highly recommend him for this tour, Immaculate English speaking and overall a great person, Wouldn’t have gone with anyone else

The transport was perfect and so comfortable for the trip! It's a long day but totally worth it. Nurzhan (John) was such a wonderful tour guide and made the trip so much fun. He explained the geography and history of the land so well and chatted with everyone in our group. Such a friendly and kind person!
