David was an excellent tour guide! He was an excellent driver, and he talked about the the sights as we drove through the countryside to our destinations. Giethoorn and Zaanse Schans Were fabulous destinations, and we had a wonderful day.
I had an amazing experience! David is a superb guide. He timed every attraction so well that we managed to beat the crowds everywhere. If you want to see idyllic fairytale Dutch villages, this is a must-do. The cheese tasting and clog making demo was an added bonus!

LOUSY. I had my tour cancelled 11 hours earlier, a lack of respect. I was traveling with my partner and he was on his birthday, we had that Tour planned in advance, days before would have allowed me to look for another option, the day before it was all sold out.
Great day from start to finish! David is very friendly and knowledgable and wants to get to know his guests as well as ensure they have a great day! De Zaans Schans feels like several trips in one with clog making, cheese tasting, windmills and more! Note that entrance to the working windmills is not included but was reasonable at €10 per adult. You won’t have time to do multiple windmills so Inwould prioritise the wood milling one (Het Jonge Schaap) - and do watch the 10 minute video of the history of the area and the rebuilding of this windmill before then going into it and watching it working. On the way to Gieethoorn we stopped at a local fruit market where you can eat samples of many fruits and sweet treats and stretch your legs before you go to Gieethoorn where you will spend around 1 hour on a small boat touring the canals and lake before having approx 2 hours free time to eat/drink and take in the wonderful village.
I would highly recommend going on this trip. There were breathtaking views throughout the journey. I would recommend booking in advance to ensure you have a space. The guide had great local knowledge, assisted throughout the trip but also allowed some time to share with your friends.
Very fun day with David!!! He is definitely an expert at timing the trip to avoid crowds and get the best experience at each location.
